along with Sage Vishwamithra arrives to meet King Dhasharatha
Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “Oh! Mune, the
Ashtasiddhis miraculously played their role after the command from the Goddess
Sri Mahalakshmi, soon all the shelter homes and city of Mithila burgeoned with
the richness, luxuries, and wealth, resembled heaven on the Earth. The people of
the wedding procession from Ayodhya felt they are already in heaven, and taken great pleasure in the luxuries, but none had the idea of the miracle performed
by Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi personified as Devi Sita, everyone abundantly
praised the splendor of Rajarishi Janaka. Lord Rama perceived the overflowing
compassion and love of his consort and felt extremely delighted. The two
brothers understood the news of the arrival of their father, could not control
their joy, but they kept silent before their preceptor Sage Vishwamithra, they
were quiet before the Sage as a mark of honor to their preceptor, but their
heart was longed to see their father. Sage Vishwamithra was highly pleased to
watch the amiable nature of the two youths, he embraced them affectionately,
soon a bliss ran through his limbs, and tears were overflown through his cheeks in
extreme happiness. Soon, Sage Vishwamithra along with Rama and Lakshman arrived
in the shelter homes where King Dhasharatha was halted as if the lake went to
reach the thirsty soul.”
