Chapter – 218– Sri Ramacharitha Manas –
Bala Kanda - Rama and Lakshmana took a
detailed tour to the Dhanur Yagashala
Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “Oh! Bharadhwaja,
the children assembled before Rama and Lakshmana were eager to touch the
attractive blue limbs of the Lord, and took immense pleasure watching the beauty of them, the mere touch of the Lord transported them to the state of
ecstasy and their eyes became greedy to see them again and again. Rama
understood the children are drenched in Bhramanandha, kept following them
through the pathways as they have wished, and two of them moved happily along
with the crowd of the people enriched with compassion and love. Rama detailed each and every arrangement made
for the Dhanush Yajja to his younger brother, who was keenly observing the scene, both of them conversed in a sweet and soft tone. The Supreme Lord
Mayapathi creates an infinite Universe with the union of Maya and makes the
Maya dance to his tune, perceivable with pure love and devotion, enthusiastically
observed the arena of the Dhanuryajja, and slowly started moving away from the
crowd. Thus, Rama and Lakshmana prepared to return to Sage Vishwamithra, they
were worried about being late to return to their preceptor who was already
advised them to make their visit quick. Finally, the time has arrived to bid farewell
to the assemblings of youths, children, and elderly people of the city, they unhappily
retired leaving Rama and Lakshman.”
