Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – Sundara Kanda – A mighty bridge across the vast ocean was constructed by the Vanaras and bears with the grace of Lord Rama – Phalashruthi:

Chapter – 62– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– A mighty bridge across the vast ocean was constructed by the Vanaras and bears with the grace of Lord Rama – Phalashruthi:

Lord Sri Ramachandra was highly pleased to watch the amiability of the presiding deity of the ocean, began to speak with a smile “Oh! Thatha, kindly advise which is the promising way to cross the vast ocean for the Vanaras and bears.” The presiding deity of the ocean began to speak “Oh! Prabho, Sri Ramachandra, the two brothers Nala and Nila have received a unique boon from a Sage during their childhood, with your grace, all those mountains and rocks thrown by them would float on the ocean waters. Oh! Prabho, I shall provide all my assistance to please you, in this way, you can construct a huge bridge, that would be spoken highly in the fourteen worlds at all times, and your glories would be sung in praise in the three worlds. Oh! Prabho, let your powerful arrows eradicate the wicked demons settled on the northern shore of the ocean.” The compassionate Lord Rama put a halt to the battle with the King of the ocean and removed his grief. The King of the ocean has highly praised the valor and virtues of Rama, he repeatedly prostrated before the Lord and took a leave.

The presiding deity of the ocean took a leave, soon the mighty Vanaras and bears began the construction of a huge bridge across the ocean with the grace of Lord of Raghu. Whoever reads or listens to the Sundarakanda singing in praise of  Lord Raghu which was written by the Sage Tulsidas would wipe off the evilness of the Kali era. The Ramacharitha is the ultimate bliss, it would remove all the apprehensions and constant miseries and sorrows of worldly existence. Oh! Ignorant, leave your interest in worldly matters and material things and sing in praise of Lord Sri Ramachandra.

Whoever sings and listens to the endless glories and virtues of Lord Sri Ramachandra would achieve the perpetual blessings of the Lord, and whoever reads and listens to them with firm devotion and faith would cross the Bhavasindhu/ unfathomable ocean of mundane existence of grief and sorrows.

Sage Kakabhusundi speaks “Oh! King of Birds, Oh! Garuda, after nurturing a plantain tree if it was not given fruits, it is meaningless to protect the same, better to cut it down. In the same manner, if a wicked and arrogant person did not heed to the prayers, it is advisable to be reprimanded.” The presiding deity of the ocean prostrated before Lord Sri Ramachandra, and clasped his feet in guilt “Oh! Prabho, Sri Ramachandra, kindly forgive my sins. Oh! Prabho, the essential five elements Earth, Air, Water, Fire, Ether are initiated at your will. The scriptures eulogize that it was initiated at your will from the inseparable Maya of you, which were brought for the smooth functioning of the creation of the Universe, the happiness lies in the will of the supreme Lord. Oh! Prabho, you have taught me a good lesson, all the creations of the Universe function at your will, if not they cannot achieve happiness. Oh! Prabho, Dhol/drum, Gavara/ ignorant, Shudra/lowly clan, Pasu/animal, and Nari/woman are deserved to be taught lessons from time to time. Oh! Prabho, I shall keep the ocean waters at a bay with your grace, so that you can construct a mighty bridge across the ocean. The Veda emphasizes that you are unconquerable, you are Almighty Lord I shall sincerely follow your command and act whichever pleases you.”

Chapter – 60– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– Lord Rama invokes Agneya Asthra, thereby presiding deity of the ocean was brought under control

Lord Rama seated on the Kushagrass and spent three days mediated upon the presiding deity King of the ocean. Alas! none of the prayers of Rama was answered, Rama spoke angrily “Oh! Lakshman, no love develops without the fear, therefore bring my bow and arrows immediately. I shall dry the ocean with the Agneya Asthra, so that the presiding deity of the ocean can be brought under control. Oh! Brother, it is futile to give lectures on the glories of Lord Sri Hari to 1) A dull-minded person, 2) person who is in illicit relationship 3) the person who was born miser 4) person who is drenched in worldly matters and material matters of richness, wealth, fame, possessions, interest in wife, children, relatives, and companions, etc. 5) It is meaningless to talk about dispassion to a person who is drenched in the impurities of lust, desire, ego, anger, pride, jealousy, Ahamkara, and Mamakara. 6) it is worthless to give a speech on the glories of Lord Sri Hari to a person who has no control over senses, finally, it is as futile as sowing seeds on the barren land.” Saying so, Rama stretched the bow to invoke the Agneya Asthra that was pleased the heart of Lakshman. Rama fastened the arrow, and invoked the Agneya Asthra, soon a massive fire broke out in the middle of the ocean which made the entire aquatic creatures flash in deep distress, the presiding deity of the ocean noticed the mayhem caused by the aquatic animals amid the massive flame, he immediately gave up his pride and appeared as a divine Bhramin before Lord Rama, he greeted the Lord with a golden plate full of various precious gems.

Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – Sundara Kanda – The spy Shuka has taken shelter at the lotus feet of Rama, eventually gets rid of the curse on him

Chapter – 59– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– The spy Shuka has taken shelter at the lotus feet of Rama eventually gets rid of the curse on him

The minister read out the message loudly “Oh! Wicked Ravana, your mind is in utter illusion Oh! Fool, do not bring the complete destruction of the demon race. If you keep enmity with Lord Sri Ramachandra, you can’t achieve protection even from the trinities, Lord Bhrama, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shambhu. Therefore, leave your pride and arrogance, and take shelter at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra who is kind and compassionate to his devotees, and protects the Jeeva whoever takes refuge in him. Otherwise, you and the entire race of demons would burn down like moths in the wrath of Lord Sri Ramachandra.” Ravana was shrunken in heart listening to the message of Lakshman, he pretended to be courageous and put a false smile on his face, spoke in the deafening voice “The younger brother of Rama, that hermit has possessed great eloquence, he is trying to reach out the doors of heaven from the Earth.” The spy Shuka spoke amiably “Oh! Prabho, kindly leave your pride and take every single word mentioned in the messages as true, kindly leave your anger and listen to my words, kindly leave animosity with Rama. He is the Lord of the Universe, he is extremely kind and compassionate, he has a gentle disposition, even though he is the Lord of the Universe. The Supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra will shower his auspicious grace on you the moment he sees you before him, he will forget all that had happened. Oh! Prabho kindly returns Devi Videha to Lord Ramachandra and takes shelter in him.” Soon, Ravana hurried from the throne and kicked minister Shuka out of the assembly in extreme anger. Shuka bowed before the feet of Ravana and proceeded to the all-merciful Lord Sri Ramachandra, he took shelter at the feet of Lord Sri Rama and introduced himself to the Lord, thus he has achieved the grace of Rama. Thus, Shuka who was an illustrious Sage born as a demon by the curse of Sage Agasthya, regained his original form of a hermit. Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Devi Uma, the grace of Lord Sri Ramachandra is capable to restore a demon into a pious soul.” Sage repeatedly prostrated before Rama and returned to his hermitage.

Chapter – 58– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– The spies describe the valor and virtues of Rama

The spies spoke “Oh! Prabho, all the Vanaras, and bears have possessed immense valor by birth, and they have the grace of supreme Lord Ramachandra on their head to protect them. These Vanaras and bears are capable to conquer millions of Yamas on the battlefield. Oh! Prabho, the saints, ascetics, Mahatmas, and noble souls are incompetent to describe their valor, courage, might, and virtues of Lord Sri Ramachandra. Oh! Prabho, Rama could dry up several oceans with the single shot of his powerful arrow, although, he has possessed immense strength, before drying up the ocean he consulted with your brother Vibheeshana, and appealed to the King of the ocean to leave a way to approach the city of Lank.” Ravana laughed boisterously, and passed sarcastic comments “Oh! Spies, it is funny as well as strange to see that mighty Princes have made an ally with the Vanaras and bears, he sought after the advice of my younger brother Vibheeshana who is born as a coward and begging before the ocean to leave way. Oh! Fools, why do you praise my enemy whose might and virtues haven’t been heard before, and whoever seeks helps from Vibheeshana who is not a brave consular, cannot achieve success or glory.” The spies got annoyed listening to the arrogant remark of their King, who is dull-witted, soon they brought out the message of Lakshman “Oh! Prabho, this is the message of the younger brother of Rama, kindly read it and soothe your heart.” Ravana laughed contemptuously and pulled out the message carelessly with his left hand, and called out for his minister to read it out.

The spies of Ravana continued “Oh! Prabho, we can name a few of them are Dhvidha, Maindha, Nala, Nila, Angadha, Gadha, Vikatasya, Dhadhimukha, Kesari, Nishatha, Satha, and the mighty Jambavan are among them. Oh! Prabho, each Vanaras has the might of the chief Sugrivah, and there are tens and millions of like him. They have possessed immense valor at the grace of Rama, and are well capable and they are countless. Oh! Prabho, there is not a single Vanara is possible to defeat by you in the battle. They have fierce some appearance, crushing their teeth and banging their fist in anger, ready to attack their enemies, and they are just waiting for the order of Lord Raghu to march towards Lanka. Oh! Prabho, the Vanaras are all prepared to construct a mighty bridge with the mountains and rocks across the vast ocean, once the Lord of Raghu dries up the ocean with his might, and they are waiting to crush their enemies in Lanka. These Vanaras are fearless in nature, they are vicious capable to devour the city of Lanka.”

Ravana continued haughtily “Oh! Spies, why are you not uttering a single word, are you confused or terror-struck? Did you meet my enemies? Are they anxious about their fate after listening to my might? Why are you not speaking about the might of my enemies?” The spies began to speak amiability “Oh! Prabho, you have put forward all the questions that have clear-cut answers with us, still, we fear you should not get angry listening to them. Oh! Prabho, Dhashanan, as soon as Vibheeshana arrived in the assembly of Rama, he was embraced and accepted as the sincere servant of Rama, by applying vermilion and sandalwood paste on his forehead. Oh! Prabho, when the Vanaras and bears found us as the spies of mighty King Dhashanan, they fastened us and produced before King Sugrivah, and prosecuted in many ways. They were about to cut off our nose and ears, soon the younger brother of Rama intervened and protected us from getting punished. Oh! Prabho, you have enquired the might of warriors of Lord Rama, that cannot be described even with the thousands and millions of tongues. Rama was accompanied by innumerable dreadful Vanaras and bears of huge sizes, with sharp teeth and nails as weapons. We have noticed that the Vanara who killed your son Akshakumara and destroyed the city of Lanka is the weakest among those Vanaras. Oh! Prabho, these mighty Vanaras of mountain-sized has the vicious appearance and immense valor resembles several untamed elephants.”

Lakshman spoke “Oh! Demons, let your King know my messages that his death is hanging above his head, ask him to return Devi Sita safely to Lord of Ragu, and surrender at the lotus feet of Lord Rama.” The demons bowed before Lakshman and returned to Lanka, all the way they were praising the boundless compassion of Lord Sri Ramachandra, they were singing in praise of the virtues of Lord Rama and arrived in the assembly of Ravana. Dhashanan laughed at them and enquired “Oh! Shuka, tell me about your welfare and the news of Vibheeshana who is weak ran out of the King of Lanka in fear, whose death is hanging above his head. I have fostered him generously in Lanka, he must have got crushed as grain under the feet of my enemies. Oh! Spies, tell me about the fate of the host of Vanaras and bears who were forced to march towards Lanka and their bad luck. It was the King of the ocean who protected them from falling prey into my hands and it was the mercy of King of the ocean, my enemies are still alive. Finally, tell me more about the two ascetics, Rama and Lakshman who are drenched in terror of my might.”

Chapter – 54– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– The spies of Ravana disguised as Vanaras were caught by the warriors of Rama

The spies appeared as Vanaras and observed the supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra, they praised the virtue and amiability of the Lord to those who have taken shelter in him. The spies began to praise openly the virtues and compassion of the Lord, forgetting themselves as the emissaries of Ravana. Soon, the Vanaras of the Lord located the spies of Ravana and fastened them, produced before Sugrivah who ordered to disfigure them and send them back to Ravana. Soon, the Vanaras chased the demons disguised as Vanaras all over the wood, the demons shrieked and cried for help were ignored, Vanaras were determined to punish the demons, but Lakshman intervened and laughed at them, he released the demons from the capture and advised “Oh! Demons, deliver my message to your King Ravana, let him read it, remind him the destroyer of the demon clan Lakshman waiting for his response.”

Chapter – 53– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– Lakshman gets agitated with the suggestion of Vibheeshna, requests Rama to dry up the ocean

Vibheeshana speaks “Oh! Prabho, Sri Ramachandra, the presiding deity of the ocean is your ancestor, hence your appeal to the King of the ocean will be taken into consideration and suggest the appropriate means to resolve the issue so that the entire Vanaras and bears can easily cross the ocean without any hurdle.” Rama was pleased with the idea of Vibheeshana, spoke “Oh! Dear friend, you have suggested an excellent plan, let us see how it works.” But Lakshmana was not at all pleased with the idea of Vibheeshana, spoke in anger “Oh! Prabho, the destiny cannot be overruled, kindly prepare to dry up the ocean, so that your request will be heard, the cowards and lazy are people call for the help of the deity, do not act their own.” Rama laughed at the words of Lakshman and pacified him that he will do the necessary to tackle the issue, thus Rama proceeded towards the ocean. He reverentially prostrated before the King of the ocean, and greeted him, spread some Kushagrass on the seashore, and taken a seat on the Kushagrass.  Meanwhile, in the city of Lanka, Ravana felt humiliated when Vibeeshana abandoned him, he sends spies to follow Vibheeshana.

Chapter – 52– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– Rama seeks the opinion of  Vibheeshana about crossing the vast ocean

In this way, Lord Raghu protected Vibheeshana from the flames like the wrath of Ravana and bestowed the sovereignty of Lanka, later Lord Rama offered the fortune of Lanka, in the same manner, Ravan achieved it/devotion from Lord Shambhu, after conducting severe penance by offering his ten heads. Whoever worships the demigods without faith and belief in Lord Ramachandra is considered as beasts without tails and horns. Thus, Vibheeshana became the sincere attendant of Lord Sri Ramachandra, and the Vanaras were highly pleased to watch his amiability. The Supreme Lord who is the knower of all, Sacchidhananda Swaroopa Paramathma Parmambhramam resides as a soul in the Jeeva, incarnate in infinite forms at his own will, inseparable from Maya, the destroyer of wicked demons, gave a lecture on discipline “ Oh! Vanaras, Oh! Lankapathi, how do we cross the vast and unfathomable ocean infested with the wild aquatic animals?” Vibheeshana replied “Oh! Lord of Raghu, Oh! Prabho, your powerful arrows have the ability to dry up innumerable oceans, yet the moral ground is to seek permission from the ocean King who is the presiding deity.”

Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – Sundara Kanda – Lord Rama offered the boon of Ananyabhakthi/perpetual devotion to Vibheeshana

Chapter – 51– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– Lord Rama offered the boon of Ananyabhakthi/perpetual devotion to Vibheeshana

Rama spoke “Oh! Vibheeshana, whoever worships me/Saguna Upasaka, and performs an abundance of charities, follows righteousness, steadfast in their vows, devoted to Santh, Bhramanas, and cows are beloved of mine. Oh! Lankapathi, you have possessed all the virtues, and you are dear as my life.” All the Vanaras assembled were exclaimed “ Hail Lord Sri Ramachandra! Hail Lord Seethapathi! Hail Lord Sri Ramachandra!” Vibheeshana’s eagerness to listen to the nectar-like speeches of the Lord grew beyond words. Vibheeshana prostrated before the Lord, again and again, shed tears of joy, and spoke fervently “Oh! Kripalu, you are the purifier of souls, you are the Lord of animate and inanimate things, you are the protector of All, you are that all-pervasive Bhramam, Oh! Prabho, previously I had some desires in my heart, all that has been disappeared with the stream of devotion at your lotus feet. Oh! Prabho, kindly provide the boon of Ananyabhakthi/relentless devotion, which gladdens the heart of Lord Shambhu.” Soon Prabhu Sri Ramachandra replied, “Yevamasthu/so be it.” The Supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra asked for ocean water and spoke “Oh! Vibheeshana, even though you are free from desires, my grace will not fail to provide its reward.” Rama applied the sacred symbol of vermilion and sandalwood paste on the forehead of Vibheeshana, and the deities’ showered flowers in immense delight.

I am highly fortunate to behold your marvelous appearance, and take shelter in you, Oh! Prabho, I have achieved the fruitfulness of my life to witness your lotus feet which are worshiped and contemplated by Lord Bhrama and Lord Shiva.” Rama spoke gently “Oh! Vibheeshana, Oh! Chapter – 49– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– Paramarththa Thaththva – Vibheeshana eulogizes the glories of Rama

Vibheeshana spoke fervently “Oh! Prabho, Sri Ramachandra, I have realized the eternal truth that whoever drenched in material pleasures of worldly existence, richness, wealth, fame, possession, attachment to wife, children, relatives and companions that have impermanent nature, and the Jeeva soaked in lust, desire, greed, jealousy, anger, pride, ego, Ahamkara, Mamakara cannot achieve peace in their lives. Whoever has taken shelter at your lotus feet would get rid of illusion/Maya and achieve eternal bliss.  The devotion at the lotus feet of Lord would remove the impurities of the mind, eventually, the Jeeva experience the bliss envisaging the supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra wielded in bow and arrow. Oh! Prabho, I have realized attachment to material matters and bondage are like the darkest hours of the night, which is delightful for the owls, the heart of Jeeva remains the dwelling place of darkness as long as the glory like the sunrays of supreme Lord does not enter in it. Oh! Prabho, the moment I have set my eyes on your lotus feet, all my fears and anxiousness have disappeared. Oh! Prabho, whoever worships at your lotus feet won’t have to undergo the sufferings and agonies of multiple births. I was born in the lowly clan of demons, I haven’t practiced devotion, Gnana and Vairagya, Shamadhamadhi, or I have not performed any pious deeds, yet the compassionate Lord Rama showered an abundance of grace upon me, and held close to his heart.”

I am surprised to watch your amiability and devotion, you are a noble soul pushed to live in the inferior clan of demons, and it is worse than hell. Oh! Chapter – 47– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– Vibheeshana’s prayer to Lord Sri Ramachandra

The compassionate Lord Sri Ramachandra smiled and spoke “Oh! Kapishwara, brig Vibheeshana before me in either case I would like to meet him.” The Vanaras cheered “Hail Lord Sri Ramachandra who is kind and compassionate” and proceeded with Angadha and Hanuman to bring Vibheeshana before the Lord. The Vanaras brought Vibheeshana respectfully before the Lord, and Vibheeshana stood little far from the charming princes who steal the hearts of all. Vibeeshana gazed at the marvelous appearance of Rama, without blinking his eyes, stood before the Lord who has strong and long arms, beautiful eyes resembled lotus flower petals, great stature and attractive limbs which is capable to remove all the fear and anxiousness, he has broad shoulders like the lion, wide chest, and has the beauty of crores of Manmatha. Vibheeshana shed tears watching the mesmerizing appearance of the Lord, and a sudden rush of thrill ran through his limbs, regained his courage, and spoke in tears of joy “Oh! Prabho, I am Ravana’s younger brother, Oh! Surathratha, I have born in the demon clan, my mind and body are impure of Ahamkara and Mamakara, and I haven’t performed any pious deeds, as I was born in the inferior clan, I have lived the life of an owl that has hatred to the brightness of the Sun.”

Chapter – 46– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– whoever has a pure mind, free from lust, desire, ego, pride, anger jealousy, Ahamkara, and Mamakara would worship Lord Rama by word, mind, and deed to achieve fruitfulness of life

Rama spoke passionately “Oh! Kapishwara, Oh! Sugrivah, whoever taken shelter in me, I would remove all their sins, and protect them from all the evils. They would get rid of their grief at the very sight of me, I won’t abandon even the grave sinner of Bhramahathya/person who killed Bhramana, the moment the Jeeva takes shelter in me, all their millions and millions of births sins would get washed away. Oh! Kapishwara, sinners cannot worship me, if Vibheeshana was wicked and vile, he could not approach me, whoever has a pure mind, free from lust, desire, ego, pride, anger and jealousy, Ahamkara and Mamakara would worship me by word, mind, and deed, eventually attain the fruitfulness of life. Sugrivah, my younger brother Lakshman is well capable to vanquish the thrice of the demon race in the Universe. If Vibheeshana was taken shelter in me with pure heart, I would assure his welfare and protection, and cherish him as dear as my life.”

Chapter – 45– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– Sugrivah expresses concern on the visit of Vibheeshana to meet Rama

Vibheeshana immersed in various thoughts while crossing the mighty ocean, “I shall behold the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra, which is the source of bliss to Bharatha who have achieved the Padhuka of the Lord, I shall bring fruitfulness to my eyes with the mere sight of that lotus feet.” Vibheeshana arrived on the other side of the seashore where Rama and Lakshman halted with the chief of Vanara Sugrivah and multitudes of Vanaras and bears. As soon as the Vanaras spotted Vibheeshana, they send a messenger to Rama to inform the arrival of the brother of his enemy. Sugrivah detained Vibheeshana on the spot and went to meet Lord Raghu, he reverentially informed “Oh! Prabho, Ravana’s brother Vibheeshana has come to meet you.” Ravana enquired “What would you think of this matter?” Sugrivah replied “Oh! Prabho, the trick of the demons cannot be taken lightly, no one knows where did he come from, they are capable to assume any forms and have illusionary powers, maybe he has come to spy on us, get secrets from us, hence I feel he should be imprisoned for our safety.” Rama replied compassionately “Oh! Kapishwara, though you have given a wise opinion, my promise to my devotees remains the same, it is my vow to dispel the fear and anxiousness of the Jeeva whoever taken shelter in me.” Hanuman rejoiced at heart listening to the most compassionate words of Lord and his paternal love for Vibheeshana.

Chapter – 44– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– The disrespect to the devotees of Lord, Sant, Mahathma, and noble souls would take away all the good fortune of the Jeeva

Vibheeshana while leaving the assembly pronounced wise words loudly “Rama is Sathyasankalpa/ truthful and stick to his promises, he is unconquerable, matchless, he is Lord of death to the demons’ clans, hence I am taking shelter at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra, who is the protector of distressed souls, do not blame me in the future.” As soon as Vibheeshana left the assembly, the doors of Lanka were shut for him permanently. Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Bhavani, disrespect to the devotees of Lord, Sant, Mahathma, and noble souls would take away all the good fortune of the Jeeva.” The moment Vibheeshana left Ravana, all the glories of Ravana were doomed to dust. Vibheeshana immersed in various thoughts while proceeding to meet Lord Raghu “ I shall behold the beautiful red lotus like supple feet of Lord Sri Ramacandra which is the source of eternal bliss to his devotees, that glorious lotus feet wandered all over the Dhandaka forest, that lotus feet were contemplated and meditated upon by Devi Janaki, that lotus feet have chased the golden deer, those very feet redeemed the curse on Devi Ahalya and that lotus feet reside in the Manasarovar lake like the heart of Lord Shambhu. I am fortunate that I am going to take shelter at that lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra.”

Chapter – 43– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– Vibheeshana was  humiliated by Ravana in the large assembly -  Vibheeshana leaving the Kingdom of Lanka

Vibheeshana prostrated before Ravana, and spoke in tears “Oh! Bhratha, kindly heeds to my prayers as a return of love to me, kindly send Devi Sita to Lord Sri Ramachandra and ensure the welfare of the entire demon clan.” Vibheeshana gave lectures on the nectar-like advice from the Veda and Puranas and the illustrious Rishis and Sages which instills pure wisdom, were flatly refused by Ravana, he abruptly rose from the throne in extreme fury and spoke “Oh! Wicked, your death is hanging above your head, Oh! Fool, you have always lived in my generosity, yet you are speaking in favor of my enemy and his glories. Who is in this Universe hasn’t experienced the might of my arm? You are living in my Kingdom and worship on hermits, and giving lectures on wisdom, if so, go and live with them comfortably.” Saying so Ravana kicked out Vibheeshana from the assembly, while Vibheeshana was begging him to release Devi Sita for the welfare of the demon clan. Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Devi Uma, the noble souls, Santh, Mahatmas are always sought for the welfare of all, do not hesitate to put them into trouble for the goodness of others.” Vibheeshana spoke in tears “Oh! Bhratha, I have always treated you as our father, so I am ready to take up the physical abuses from you, but your welfare lies in the hands of supreme Lord Ramachandra, kindly do not ignore my words.” Thus, Vibheeshana along with his ministers moved out of the assembly of Ravana proclaiming their journey to take shelter at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra.
