Chapter – 44– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara
Kanda– The disrespect to the devotees of Lord, Sant, Mahathma, and noble souls
would take away all the good fortune of the Jeeva
Vibheeshana while leaving the assembly pronounced
wise words loudly “Rama is Sathyasankalpa/ truthful and stick to his promises,
he is unconquerable, matchless, he is Lord of death to the demons’ clans, hence
I am taking shelter at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra, who is the
protector of distressed souls, do not blame me in the future.” As soon as
Vibheeshana left the assembly, the doors of Lanka were shut for him
permanently. Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Bhavani, disrespect to the devotees of
Lord, Sant, Mahathma, and noble souls would take away all the good fortune of
the Jeeva.” The moment Vibheeshana left Ravana, all the glories of Ravana were doomed to dust. Vibheeshana immersed in various thoughts while proceeding to
meet Lord Raghu “ I shall behold the beautiful red lotus like supple feet of
Lord Sri Ramacandra which is the source of eternal bliss to his devotees, that
glorious lotus feet wandered all over
the Dhandaka forest, that lotus feet were contemplated and meditated upon by
Devi Janaki, that lotus feet have chased the golden deer, those very feet redeemed the curse on Devi Ahalya and that lotus feet reside in the Manasarovar
lake like the heart of Lord Shambhu. I am fortunate that I am going to take shelter
at that lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra.”
