Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Devi, the two demons Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu was killed by Lord Hari were taken birth as the most powerful and valiant Dhashanan/Ravana and Kumbhakarna, underwent extreme Tapasya and achieved great prowess, eventually, they have conquered the three worlds and seized the abode of the deities. The demons Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu got killed by Lord Hari did not achieve liberation due to the curse of Sanakadhis, had to take birth thrice to get rid of the curse.  Lord Hari personified as the son of King Dasaratha and Devi Kausalya, who was Sage Kage Kashyapa and Devi Adhithi in the previous life.  Sage Kashyapa and Adhithi conducted several penances yearning to achieve that supreme Lord Hari as their child. Thus, in the Thretha Yuga, Lord Hari personified as Lord Rama to this couple who have personified as Dhasharatha and Kaushalya and performed various amusements on the Earth. There was another occasion, the demon Jalandhara harassed the deities, and Sages were appealed to Lord Shambhu. Tripurari fought against the demon Jalandhara for several thousands of years, because he has possessed immense prowess from the chastity of his wife Brindha, hence the mighty Lord Tripurari found it difficult to kill Jalandhara.”
