Chapter – 236– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Ayodhya Kanda– Devi Sita overwhelmed with love for her children and blessed Bharatha and Shathrughna

Rama embraced Shathrughna/Ripusudana and greeted Nishadharaj with great love. Bharatha and Shathrughna rushed to Lakshman and remained in the embrace, in this way the three brothers greeted each other affectionately. Lakshman embraced Guha, the two brothers Bharatha and Shathrughna greeted the hermits assembled and received their blessings. Bharatha and Shathrughna overwhelmed with devotion repeatedly prostrated before Devi Sita, and adorned the dust particles from her feet on their forehead and eyes, Devi Sita lifted them from the ground and stroked their hair in affection, and made them sit down. Devi Sita blessed Bharatha and Shathrughna, she was overwhelmed with the affection for her children, Bharatha and Shathrughna got relieved from grief and anxiousness watching the unconditional love of Devi Sita. No one was in a state to speak or listen, there was utter silence in the atmosphere, the hearts were brimming with love and the limbs and mind were inactive. Nishadharaj Guha regained his normal self, prostrated before his preceptor Lord of Raghu, and began to speak with folded hands.
