Kanda– Guha shows the marvelous hermitage of Rama under the Banyan tree to
Bharatha
Bharatha beholds the beauty of the Kingdom
of Rama, the hills of Chitrakoot brought intense delight in his heart as if an
ascetic who has undertaken severe penance and austerities rewarded with the
fruits of his spiritual practices. Meanwhile, the Nishadhraja skillfully climbed
up the hill and gave a hand to fetch Bharatha, exclaimed “Oh! Prabho, look at these
cluster of auspicious trees of Jambuphala, Pakara, Rasala, and Thamala, encircled
the huge and beautiful Banyan tree, full of fresh leaves, bearing red fruit, leaving
no sunlight, pleasant throughout the year, as if the Almighty Lord has created
all the stunningly beautiful things altogether in a place. Oh! Prabho, this
huge banyan tree located on the riverbank Payaswini which stands close to the
hermitage of Prabhu Rama. The beautiful hermitage of Lord Rama was made of
shrubs, leaves, and bark of trees, and you will find a beautiful garden of
various herbs, basil, flowers of rich scent, etc. created by Devi Sita and
Lakshman. Oh! Prabho, you will find a stunning altar constructed by Devi Sita
under the shade of Banyan tree for Prabhu Sri Ram.”
