The deities eulogized supreme Lord Hari who is the Lord of Universe, the preserver of Universe and its living and non-living things, and returned to their respective abodes. The Supreme Lord Kripala, Dheenadhayala, Kausalyahithakari, the bliss personified appeared before his mother, in a mesmerizing form of dark cloud complexioned attractive limbs, four arms holding Shankha, Chakra, Gadha, Padma, beautiful eyes resembled blue lotus flower petal, the wide chest is adorned in marvelous gem Kausthubha, Vanamala, precious ornaments,  and the beautiful mark of Srivathsa, strong shoulders, conch shaped neck, powerful arms adorned in armlets, Kankan and finger rings, magnificent crown, and earrings, beautiful three lines on the stomach, deep navel resembled the twirl in the dark waters of the Yamuna, sacred thread across the chest, attired in finest yellow silk garment, beautiful waist ornament and Noopura on the ankle, which was stolen the heart of Siddhas, Muniganas, and deities, transported Devi Kausalya in a state of ecstasy. Devi Kausalya stood with folded hands and prayed “Oh! Prabho, Oh! Bhramandanayaka, Oh! Mayapathi, the Veda, and scriptures eulogize your endless glories, Oh! Mayatheetha/free from illusion, you are the ocean of mercy, you are the essence of wisdom, virtue, and bliss. Oh! Lakshmipathi, the Veda eulogizes your marvelous Viratswaroopa, each and every limb of you represent the infinite Universe, that supreme Bhramam gracefully took birth in my womb, it’s astonishing for me even for the intellectuals.” Lord Sri Hari looked at her and smiled affectionately, Mayapathi made her recollects her previous birth and the promise of the Lord to take birth as her child and perform various amusements to her delight. Soon Devi Kausalya spoke in great enthusiasm “You have to give up the superhuman form, and assume the normal form of a lovely infant, and indulge in various childhood sports, that would make my heart brimming with delight.” Immediately, the supreme Bhramam assumed the form of a beautiful infant and began to cry loudly.  Sri Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Whoever sings in praise or listening to the birth of the Supreme Lord Sri Rama with intense devotion and faith would get liberated from the Bhavakoopa/deep and dark well of sufferings of Samara and repeated births.”

Chapter – 184– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Bala Kanda – The birth of Lord Sri Hari as Rama, the son of divine couple King Dhasharatha and Devi Kausalya

 

Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “Oh! Mune, the auspicious day has arrived which was eagerly anticipated by the whole Kingdom of Ayodhya, deities, Sages, and Rishis.  The sun has arrived on the propitious zodiac sign, the position of nine planets, week, day, hour, seconds, /Lagna, Yoga, Thithi all turned out most favorable. The supreme Bhramam Lord Sri Hari who is the essence of the Universe and its living and non-living things took birth as a human, bearing the auspicious star, Naumi Thithi, Abhijeeth Muhurtha which is the favorite of Lord Hari, Shuklapaksha, on the ninth day of the bright month of Madhumasa/Chaithra, that auspicious day was neither hot nor cold, the whole world experienced an unknown bliss, the cool breeze multiplied the joy of the creatures on the Earth. The deities, Rishis, Sages, felt exhilarated, the woods were loaded with fresh leaves, flowers of rich fragrance, succulent fruits, the mountains flourished with rich natural and mineral wealth, the rivers, ponds, streams were brimming with nectar-like water. Lord Bhrama perceived the birth of Lord Sri Hari as the son of the divine couple Dhasharatha and Devi Kausalya, all the deities, Kinnara, Yaksha, Naga, Gandharvas set out in their grand celestial vehicles from their respective abodes, the celestial Gandharvas and Apsaras merrily danced to the tune of melodious music, the sounds of divine music instruments reverberated in the sky, the deities assembled before the supreme Bhramam showered flowers, the Vandhiganas, deities, and demi-gods eulogized the glories of supreme Lord Hari with the marvelous verses.”

Chapter – 183– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Bala Kanda - King Dhasharatha offers the sweetened porridge in the golden vessel to his three consorts Devi Kausalya, Devi Kaikeyi, and Devi Sumithra

 

Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “Oh! Mune, the Agnidevatha disappeared from the sight of King Dhasharatha, after handing him the golden vessel. The sages, Rishis, and the family members, and the members of the assembly gathered rejoiced, King Dhasharatha was transported to a state of bliss. Soon, King Dhasharatha called for his beloved consorts, half of the sweetened porridge was handed to Devi Kausalya, the remaining portion was divided into two equal halves, and the other half was handed Devi Kaukeyi, the remaining portion was further divided into two equal haves handed to Devi Kausalya and Devi Kaikeyi was affectionately transferred to Devi Sumithra. In due course of time, the three queens were pregnant with the child, the entire Kingdom stood as a visible mark of auspiciousness and welfare, the Earth flourished with rich natural and mineral wealth, people were extremely happy lived a peaceful and contented life. The queens pregnant with the child resembled the epitome of beauty, virtues, wisdom. The arrival of Lord Sri Hari in the womb of the queens revealed great effulgence on their faces, surrounded by happiness and welfare. Thus, the all-pervasive Bhramam prepared its way to take birth as children of King Dhasharatha and his beloved consorts Devi Kausalya, Devi Kaikeyi and Devi Sumithra. The three queens were looked stunningly gorgeous with great effulgence, remained blissful always, patiently waited to give birth to that supreme Bhramam.”

Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “Oh! Mune, Devi Kausalya and all the queens of King Dhasharatha was chaste and highly devoted to Lord Sri Hari, led a peaceful and amiable life, all the consorts of Dasaratha was virtuous and dutiful to the King, thus several years have passed with utmost serenity. One day the King suddenly felt gloomy without an offspring, drove to his preceptor Sage Vashishta, to seek his advice. He arrived in the hermitage of Sage Vashishta, fallen at the feet of the preceptor, and described the reason for his visit and the grief overcame all of a sudden. Sage Vashishta pacified the King with soothing words, “Oh! Rajan, don’t get saddened, you will have four sons in due course of time, and all the four would bring great fame to your clan, remove the anguish and fears of the people of the Kingdom, the three worlds would eulogize the glories of your sons, hence do not get distressed.” Further, Sage Vashishta invited the illustrious Sage Shringi to perform an Ashwametha Yaga followed by Puthrakameshti Yaga, to obtain virtuous offspring to King Dasaratha. A grand Yaga was held under the guidance of Sage Vashishta, all the arrangements were meticulously done by the family priests, sages, and Rishis according to the scriptures and Veda, Sage Shringi offered an abundance of oblations to the fire sacrifice, soon the Agnidevatha was pleased, and initiated from the fire with a golden vessel of sweetened porridge, spoke “Oh! Rajan, the fire sacrificed performed at the instructions of Sage Vashishta has been successfully completed, the deities are pleased, take the golden vessel of porridge, and share with your consorts as per your wish.”

Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “ Oh! Bharadhwaja, Lord Bhrama appealed to the deities and demi-gods to take the form of Vanaras to assist Lord Sri Hari while his incarnation as a human on the Earth. Thus, all the deities, demi-gods, sages, Siddhas, Rishis, were returned to their abode, shortly everyone assumed the form of Vanara of immense prowess, courage, and might, and descend to Earth. These Vanaras were possessed immense vigor, fearless, skilled in mountaineering of any heights, with sharp nails and teeth as weapons. These Vanaras in huge number patiently waited in the caves, dense forest, mountains, enjoying various monkey-acts, for the arrival of supreme Lord Hari’s incarnation as the son of Devi Kaushalya and Emperor Dhasharatha. Oh! Mune, I have to describe an interesting account which I forgot to mention about the clan of Raghu, listen to me carefully.  The city of Ayodhya was ruled by an excellent ruler Dhasharatha from the Raghu’s clan, was highly eulogized by the Vedas. King Dharashara symbolizes wisdom, virtues, auspiciousness, was an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu/Sarangapani who is wielded in bow and arrow.”

Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “Oh! Mune, after listening to the tearful praises of the deities, Lord Bhrama, Devi Bhoomi, who were already terror-stricken, suddenly everyone could listen to a heavenly voice of soothing and encouraging which removed their anguish “Oh!  Sages, Siddhas, Muniganas, and deities, kindly stop worrying, leave your anguish to me I shall remove all your grief by assuming the form of a human in the illustrious clan of Surya.  Shortly, I shall incarnate in the illustrious clan of Raghu, along with my inseparable vital energies. Sage Kashyapa and Devi Adhithi had conducted an extreme Tapasya, praying to achieve me as their beloved child, and I have already promised to take birth as their child. Sage Kashyapa and Devi Adhithi had taken birth as Dhasharatha and Kausalya as the Emperor and Empress of the Kingdom of Ayodhya. I shall take birth as a child to this virtuous couple, along with my counterparts as three brothers to the respective queens of King Dhasharatha, as an ornament to multiply the glories of the clan of Raghu. I shall make arrangements for the incarnation with my supreme energy, as advised by Maharishi Narada, in this way, I shall remove the burden of Devi Bhoomi, and restore righteousness and peace in the world, hence be fearless.” After listening to the most promising heavenly voice, all the deities, Rishis and Sages returned to their respective abodes. Lord Bhrama pacified Devi Dharani and removed her anguish and grief, thus Devi Dharani bade farewell to deities."

Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Devi, Lord Bhrama was delighted to hear my opinion, his bodily hairs stood upright, tears overflowing, soon regained the courage, with folded hands began to eulogize the Supreme Lord Sri Hari in the beautiful verses.”

 

Lord Bhrama eulogizes Lord Sri Hari “Hail Lord of Lords/Suranayaka! Hail Lord who shower welfare and auspiciousness to all/Sukhadhayaka! Hail Lord Sri Hari who protects the distressed devotees who have taken shelter at his lotus feet/Pranathapalaka! Hail Lord Sri Hari who is most promising to Go/cows, Dhvija/twice-born/Bhramin! Hail Lord Sri Hari who is the vanquisher of demons/Asurari, Hail Lord Sri Hari who is the beloved consort of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi who is the daughter of ocean/Sindhusutha Priyakantha ! Hail supreme Lord Sri Hari who is the protector of deities and Mother Earth/Surapalaka and Dharni, Hail supreme Lord Sri Hari who performs mysterious and impossible tasks, Hail supreme Lord Sri Hari who is difficult to perceive! Oh! Prabho, kindly shower your compassion, your grace on us. Hail Lord Mukunda who is the bestower of love and salvation resides as a soul in the Jeeva which is the source of the functioning of mind, intellect, Chiththa, Ahamkara, Prana, Karma and Gnanendhriyas etc. Hail supreme Lord Sri Hari who is bliss personified, omnipresent, not perceivable, the essence of virtues and wisdom, unblemished, pure, free from Maya. Hail supreme Lord Sri Hari who is absolute truth, the essence of eternal bliss sought after by the illustrious Rishis, Sages, Mahatmas by undertaking various austerities, constant meditation, contemplation, Swadhyaya, Shama, Dhama, Sathyam, Dhaya, Shaucham, Astheyam, Arjjavam, Ahimsa, Bharamacharya etc. Hail supreme Lord Krishna who is the slayer of Aghasura, he is the source of the Universe and its living and non-living things comprise Trigunas/Sathvik, Rajasik, and Thamasik. Oh! Prabho, we do not know the practice of devotion or worship. Oh! Prabho, you are the destroyer of fear and anguish of transmigration/fear of death and repeated births, and the natural calamities, man-made disasters, /Adhidhevik, Adhibhauthik and Adhyathmik Thapa. Oh! Prabho, we shall surrender at your lotus feet with words, mind, and deeds. Oh! Prabho, your virtues are beyond description even for Goddess Sarada/Goddess of wisdom, serpent Adhishesha/thousand tongued, and Veda/eulogizes Na: ithi, Na: ithi, hence kindly shower mercy upon us. Oh! Prabho, the Sages, Rishis, Siddhas, deities, and Munigans are grief-stricken due to the brutalities of the demon Ravana and his clan and the disappearance of Dharma. Oh! Prabho, you have assumed the form of a giant tortoise and hold Mount Mandhara on your back while churning the ocean for the nectar of immortality. We shall surrender at the lotus feet of Supreme Lord Hari symbolizes bliss, wisdom, and virtue.”
