Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “Oh! Mune, it was Lakshman woke up before the crack of dawn, eventually the Lord of Universe, Rama along with Lakshman went to perform the morning rite and stood before their preceptor. The two brothers performed all those customary rites, worship of sun and the deities, and once again appeared before the Sage and prostrated before him. Further, the two brothers went to collect flowers for the veneration of deities at the instruction of the Sage. They have arrived in a beautiful palace garden, well-maintained, loaded with plants and creepers of flowers of various fragrances, and there were beautiful ponds holds a cluster of different colors of freshly bloomed lotus flowers resembled the spring season has taken shelter in it was a nestling place of Chathaka, cuckoo, peacock, parrots, myna, Chakora, Kokila, etc. there were various auspicious trees of Thamala, Palasha, Peepal, Vatavruksha, etc.  and various fruit-bearing trees in abundance excelled the beauty of celestial abode. The whole garden pathways and steps were decorated with precious gems, and the lovely streams and ponds of a cluster of lotus flowers of various colors echoed with the buzzing sounds of bees, the marvelous watercourse in the middle of the garden was the living place of the lovely water birds in pairs that would steal the heart of viewers.”

Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “ Oh! Mune, Rama and Lakshmana returned to the palace with a sense of anxiousness overruled for being late to present before the preceptor, they reverentially prostrated before the Sage and took a seat beside him. Sage Vishwamithra reminded them to perform the sun worship in the twilight, and they have spent the rest of the hours in the discussion on scriptures and Veda, narrating the glorious legends of the Supreme Lord, in this way, they have spent the remaining hours to bed. Eventually, Sage retired to his chamber, and the two brothers sincerely followed him, caressed the feet of the preceptor. The Sacchidhanandha Swaroopa Parmathma incarnated as the human set a remarkable example for the devotion to Guru who is none another a supreme Bhramam/Lord Bhrama, Lord, Vishnu, Lord Shiva, and the constant service to preceptor resembles the supreme Lord is the essence of wisdom and virtues are capable to remove the Thribidha Thapa/1) The grief caused by the epidemic, drought, famine and natural calamities/Adhi Dheivik 2) The grief caused by the attachment to material matters, richness, wealth, money, fame, possession, family, children, wife, relatives, and companions etc./Adhibhauthik 3) The grief caused by the aging, illnesses, and fear of death/Adhyathmik, and impurities of the mind/ Ego, lust, desire, anger, pride, jealousy, Ahamkara and Mamakara of the Jeeva. The preceptor inspires the disciple to take up austerities, Shamadhamadhi, vow, celibacy, Swadhyaya, Athmavichara, etc. to achieve serenity of mind, and get rid of sufferings and grief of worldly existence, and thereby repeated births. Sage Vishwamithra compassionately addressed the princes to return to their chambers and relax, so that they can participate in the upcoming Dhanur Yajja. Finally, the two of them returned to Rama’s chamber, Lakshman continued to serve his brother caressing his feet, Rama constantly insisted Lakshman to catch up some sleep so that they can attend the Yaga with great enthusiasm, it was after the third Yama of the night Lakshman unwillingly returned to his chamber to relax, contemplating upon the lotus feet of his brother.”

Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “Oh! Bharadhwaja, the children assembled before Rama and Lakshmana were eager to touch the attractive blue limbs of the Lord, and took immense pleasure watching the beauty of them, the mere touch of the Lord transported them to the state of ecstasy and their eyes became greedy to see them again and again. Rama understood the children are drenched in Bhramanandha, kept following them through the pathways as they have wished, and two of them moved happily along with the crowd of the people enriched with compassion and love.  Rama detailed each and every arrangement made for the Dhanush Yajja to his younger brother, who was keenly observing the scene, both of them conversed in a sweet and soft tone. The Supreme Lord Mayapathi creates an infinite Universe with the union of Maya and makes the Maya dance to his tune, perceivable with pure love and devotion, enthusiastically observed the arena of the Dhanuryajja, and slowly started moving away from the crowd. Thus, Rama and Lakshmana prepared to return to Sage Vishwamithra, they were worried about being late to return to their preceptor who was already advised them to make their visit quick.  Finally, the time has arrived to bid farewell to the assemblings of youths, children, and elderly people of the city, they unhappily retired leaving Rama and Lakshman.”

Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “Oh! Mune, the two charming princes followed by a huge crowd of people of Mithila drenched in supreme bliss, the deities, and celestials showered flowers on the princes. The children gathered around Rama and Lakshman led them to the eastern quarter of the city where a grand arrangement for the Dhanush Yajja was taken place, a magnificent altar was erected in the middle of the hall, decorated with stunning artworks, gems, and gold. The long pathways led to this alter was spectacular, the four sides of the alter were decked with grand seating arrangements for the guests and audience of different ranks to occupy a large number of people to witness the Dhanuryajja. There were spacious galleries erected for the common people, with comfortable seating arrangements, separately for the women folks. The children took Rama and Lakshman to witness the grand arrangements made for Dhanush Yaga was reverentially described the plan of actions in detail to them.”

The woman spoke “Oh! Dear, if the wedlock of Janakanandhini with the most charming Rama would keep him visiting the city of Mithila, otherwise it would be impossible for us to see the marvelous sight of these two brothers again. If we are fortunate, have an abundance piousness of previous births, that would benefit us from witnessing the most stunning princes again.” One of them said “Oh! Dear, you have spoken the wise words, the marriage of Janakanandhini with the charming prince Rama would bring fortune to all.” Another woman spoke in anxiousness “Oh! Dear, the powerful bow of Lord Shiva is extremely difficult to bend, and the two princes have a too delicate physique to bend that powerful bow, I feel everything seems to be impossible.” Another woman uttered in great confidence “Oh! Dear, don’t leave our hopes, I have heard these two charming youths wielded in bow and arrow have possessed immense valor and strength, killed numerous demons in the forest, removed the curse on Devi Ahalya who achieved liberation. Hence, do keep up your spirits, the charming youth Rama will break the Shiva’s bow, the dark cloud complexioned youth is already destined to take Devi Maithili/Sita who is the epitome of beauty, virtue, wisdom, and fortune as his wedded wife.” All the ladies assembled were cheered in delight ‘Let it be.

One of the women continued in a sweet tone “Oh! Dear friends, these two youths are Princes Rama and Lakshman are the sons of Devi Kausalya and Devi Sumithra respectively. They are extremely fearless, have fought against the demons Subhahu and Mareecha and a huge army of demons, and protected the grand fire sacrifices of Sage Vishwamithra, thus they have protected the life of ascetics and twice-born from the troubles of these wicked demons. On their way to Mithila, the elder son of King Dasaratha, the bliss personified Rama removed the curse of Gauthama Pathni Devi Ahalya who was cursed to become a rock for her mischievousness.” The ladies assembled were highly praised for the valor and magnanimity of these two youths. One of the ladies spoke “Oh! Friends, I sincerely believe that the elder son of King Dhasharatha would make great pair with Janakanandhini, if King Janaka discards his vow to conduct Dhanuryajja to choose a groom for his beloved daughter, he would achieve the most charming prince Rama as wedded husband to his daughter Janaki.” Other women spoke in despair “If the King does not give up his vow, even after receiving the handsome youths, along with Sage Vishwamithra, ascetics and twice-born, whatever happens, would be the faith, sincerely wish for the auspiciousness to Janakanandhini.”  Soon, other women spoke “The glories of Kingdom of Mithila, King Janaka and the loveliness of Devi Janaki is beyond words, and the King has decided to conduct a Swayamvara for his lovely daughter and she has all the right to choose the best groom as her wedded husband. There is no doubt that the alliance with the two Kingdom Mithila and Koshala would make the world flourish with happiness and welfare, I am growing impatient would like to see Devi Janaki’s union with the bliss personified Rama, so that he would make frequent visits to the Kingdom of Mithila.”

Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “Oh! Mune, the beautiful women assembled on the balconies and terrace of their houses spoke “Oh! Dear friends, these two attractive youths, one is dark cloud complexioned and another one in the fair is the essence of beauty and bliss. They have excelled the loveliness of the crores of Manmatha, their marvelous stature, and stunning appearance is beyond description.” Other women who were assembled thrilled to watch the youths and spoke “Oh! Dear friends, have you seen anyone attractive and pleasant as these two lads in your lifetime?” and another one spoke in a sweet tone “Oh! Dear Friends, listen to me carefully, what I have been told about these two lads one in a freshly formed dark cloud complexioned attired in yellow silk garment wrapped a blue robe on the waist, attractive physique, charming appearance, adorned in marvelous ornaments, wrapped on a robe to cover the upper portion of the thickly grown dark curly hair locks, long and beautiful eyes stretched up to ears resemble a blue lotus flower petals, lustrous forehead adorned in vermilion and sandalwood paste, conch shaped neck adorned in pearl choker, long and powerful hands stretched up to knees, deep navel, broad chest, strong shoulders, three attractive lines on the stomach, wielded in bow and arrow,  and the other youth in fair complexion, have the beautiful appearance as the elder one, strong built, are the sons of King Dasaratha of Kingdom of Ayodhya. They have followed Maharishi Vishwamithra to the dense forest to protect his fire sacrifices, they have killed powerful demons Subhahu and his huge army of demons, and thrown Mareecha out of sight. The elder one in dark cloud complexioned is Rama, son of Devi Kausalya, and the younger one is Lakshman, son of Devi Sumithra, these two fearless youths are inseparable from each other.”
