Chapter – 259– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Bala Kanda– The wise words of the righteous Kings watching the uproar in the grand assembly

The righteous rulers spoke “Oh! Wicked Kings, and Princes, leave your disobedient act, get rid of your anger and jealousy and take feast on the marvelous sight of the divine couple, which would provide fruitfulness to your eyes, one more thing, Lakshman’s wrath is enough to set blaze to the Universe, do not let yourself burn to death like the moths. Oh! Princes, try to understand your desire to achieve Janakanandhini as consort is as simpler as the crow take feast on the leftover of the Garuda/King of birds, the rabbit nibble on the leftover meat from  the meal of lion, understand the fact that an angry person cannot achieve happiness, a Shivadhrohi/person who bring disgrace to Lord Siva, cannot achieve auspiciousness, a greedy person cannot achieve fame, a valorous and wise person should be free from the yearning for fame, the person who is far from the pure love and devotion at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Hari cannot achieve liberation. Oh! Princes, Devi Sita is an inseparable companion of that supreme Lord Sri Hari cannot be achieved without devotion and pure love.” Devi Sita terrified watching the chaos in the grand hall, soon her female companions took Devi Sita to her mother, while Rama gracefully moved to his preceptor Sage Vishwamithra. Rama was smitten in love and beauty of Devi Sita, was calm and serene, praising the affection of Devi Sita graciously walked through the crowd. Devi Janakanandhini and the queen, and their female companions were becoming anxious watching the uproar in the huge hall. Lakshman rose from the seat and looked hither and thither in extreme rage as if observing the situation, but he was too quiet, did not utter a word, scared of his elder brother.

Shortly, they rose from their seats well-armed and began fighting and abusing each other, soon there were loud shrieks heard “Get imprisoned the couple, get hold of Devi Janaki, we do not agree with the fate of Bhavachapa, let us see who will get married to Devi Sita while we are alive? Let us have a battle with the two youths and will see who will achieve Devi Sita in marriage.” Watching the unruly act of the wicked Kings and Princes, the pious and righteous Kings spoke “shame on these mischievous rulers, all their fame, glory, valor, honor was already shattered the moment Bhavachapa was broken into two pieces. Is there any respect or valor left with these cowards? If any misconceptions left behind, let it be clear that the Supreme Lord Rama has already discolored their faces with his prowess.”
