Sage Bharadhwaja continues “Oh! Prabhu, you are Sarvajja, you are the knower of All and have prominent knowledge in Veda, Shastra, and Purana, kindly enlighten me, is that Rama whose name and remembrance would remove the Thrividha Thapa of Samsara? Is that very Rama who is contemplated and meditated upon by Thripurari? Oh! Prabho, kindly describe the legend of Lord Sri Ramachandra that would remove my false notion and perplexities.” Sage Yajjavalkya smiled affectionately at Sage Bharadhwaja and began to speak “Oh! Mune, you are well known the glories of Lord of Raghu, you are an ardent devotee of Lord Rama by word, deed, and thought, still you want to hear the endless glories and virtues of that supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra from me, and a pretense to be unknown to you. Oh! Vathsa, listen to me carefully, I shall narrate the beautiful legend of Lord Rama, the ignorance is dreadful as the colossal demon Mahishasura who resembled Mahisha/bull, and the legend of Lord Ramachandra is fierce Kalika who is Jagathjanani, Paramba, Bhagavathi, Goddess Parvathi who killed the demon Mahishasura in a vicious battle.  The legend of Sri Ramachandra resembles the rays of the autumn moon, which is cravingly guzzling down by the Chakora like the Santh Mahathma noble-souls. I shall describe an interesting incident that took place between Lord Shambhu and Goddess Bhavani who expressed her desire to know about it all.”

Chapter – 45– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Bala Kanda – The glories of Anandhavana/Kashi and the Tharakamanthra

Sage Bharadhwaja speaks “Oh! Mahathma, The Veda, Shastra, and Purana highly eulogizes the splendor of the Preceptor who is none other than Supreme Lord, he is the source of pure wisdom, knowledge of ‘self, following the strict austerities and guidance of one own preceptor the fortunate Jeeva achieves spiritual advancement. The Veda, Shasthra and Puruana equally emphasizes the glories of ‘Sri Ramanama’/Tharakamanthra too. The illustrious Sages and Rishis highly praise the Ramanama as propitious, removes the impurities of the mind, Ahamkara, Mamakara, excessive interest in Shabdha/sound, Sparsha/touch, Rasa/taste, Roopa/appearance, Gandha/smell, that are the prime cause for the permanent grief and agony. Lord of Lords, Lord Mahadeva, who symbolizes auspiciousness and bliss, constantly recites and contemplate upon Lord Rama in the sacred land of Kashi and recite the Tharakamanthra. Whoever leave mortal coil in Anandhavana/Kashi would achieve liberation from the repeated births, Lord Mahadeva along with Goddess Parvathi, whispers the Tharaka Manthra on the ear of the Jeeva who leaves mortal coil on this land. Oh! Kripanidhi, kindly describe, who is that Rama? Is he Avadhakumara/the crown prince of Ayodhya who is the son of King Dhasharatha and Devi Kausalya? I have heard of a Rama, who is the prince of Ayodhya, lost his wife in the dense wood of Dhandakaranya, conducted rigorous search all over the forest, lamented over her loss, finally battled against the demon king Ravana, the king of Lanka with the help of monkey warriors, and destroyed the entire clan of demon Ravana.”

Chapter – 42– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Bala Kanda – The marvelous comparison of the life of four brothers – The Manasarovar of Sri Ramacharitha wave off the hunger and thirst like sufferings and grief of Samsara

The unique relationship shared among the four brothers, Rama, Lakshman, Bharatha, and Shathrughna, and their lovely conversation, affection, kind, caring and loving nature, and the various amusements and the childhood pastimes that took place between them are beyond description, which represents the sweetness and the fragrances of the Mansarovar of Sri Ramacharitha. I have an intense desire to consume the sweet nectar-like the waters of Manasarovar which is uncontrollable, although I am a distressed and fragile Jeeva does not deserve to have a look or touch of this crystal-clear waters of Sri Ramacharitha like Manasarovar that has the miraculous nature to wave off the hunger and thirst like the grief and sufferings of the Samsara, the impurities of the mind, Ahamkara, and Mamakara. The sweet nectar-like the waters of Manasarovar of Ramacharitha would remove all the sins of the Kali era, weariness caused from the chase of material matters, bodily pleasures and worldly interests, and enhance the pure and devotion at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra. It would protect the Jeeva from hurling into different Yonis of animals, reptiles, birds, Devatha, Manushya, and demon, and thereby constantly undergo the suffering and grief of Samsara. It would destroy the extreme anguish, sufferings of poverty, fear of death and enrich the Jeeva with the knowledge of ‘self’, the Sacchidhanandhaswaroopa Paramathma Parambhramam resides as the soul which is free from afflictions, pure, changeless, unblemished, eternal bliss has neither birth nor death/cannot be dried of wind, cannot be burn into ashes by fire, cannot be submerged under the water, or cannot be hurt with the weapons, and the Prakrithi/materials matters and attachment to infinite Nama Roopa Dhrishya is destructible causes grief. Those who have not taken a dip or tasted the nectar-like waters of Manasarovar in the Kali era are unfortunate, drenched in Ahamkara, Mamakara, interest in the material matters of richness, possession, wealth, money, fame, attachment to wife, children, relatives and companions undergo extreme afflictions, ultimately keep hurling into different Yonis and experience the grief and sufferings Sasmara again and again, like the deer isolated from its herd ran after the reflection of water in the desert, finally meets its miserable end.

Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sri Tulsidas Maharaj – Bala Kanda – The marvelous comparisons on the legend of Bharatha – The six seasons and their resemblance in the life of Rama and Janakanandhini who is the epitome of beauty, intelligence, fortune, fame, endurance, and virtues

Chapter – 41 – Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Bala Kanda – The marvelous comparisons on the legend of Bharatha – The six seasons and their resemblance in the life of Rama and Janakanandhini who is the epitome of beauty, intelligence, fortune, fame, endurance, and virtues

The legend of Bharatha resemble the gatherings of the pious and noble-souls who constantly recite the sacred name of Lord Sri Ramachandra, which destroys all the evil effects of the Kali era, Ahamkara, Mamakara, Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, and Mathshcharya, and remove the Thribidha Thapa of Samsara, like the algae on the water feed on the ravens and crows, live on the riverside.  The Manasarovar of Sri Ramacharitha provide joy and auspiciousness in all the six seasons of Vasantharithu, Greeshmarithu, Varsharithu, Sharathrithu, Hemantharithu and Shishirarithu.  The celestial wedding of Lord Shiva with Goddess Parvathi, daughter of mount Himavan represent Hemantharithu and the celebrations took place on account of the divine wedding represents Shishirarithu. The initial preparations of the wedding and the several days of celebrations after the wedding of divine couple Lord Sri Ramachandra and Devi Sita resemble the stunning Vasantharithu that spread extreme bliss, and the couple’s exile from the Kingdom of Ayodhya, and the miserable days spent in the dense wood represent the scorching Grishmarithu, that doomed the entire world into grief and sorrow. The fierce conflict with the demons during his journey through the wood resemble the Varsharithu, provided great solace and immense delight to the deities, Rishis, humans, and all the creatures from the harassment of demons, it was like an abundance of water to flourish the land with rich natural resources, thus Rama restored happiness and prosperity among the lives on the Earth. The glorious period of the regime of Lord Sri Ramachandra ensured the happiness and welfare of the people that resembled the charming autumn season. The description of the endless virtues, chastity, Sthreedharma/fortunate, intellectual, fame, endurance, beauty, discipline/ of Janakanandhini, Paramba, Bhagavathi, Jagathjanani Devi Sita resemble the nectar-like the sweet crystal-clear water in the Manasarovar of Sri Ramacharitha. The pure love and devotion of Bharatha at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra and Devi Janaki are beyond description and matchless as well.
