The villages and towns located on the river banks of Sarayu is the dwelling place of the Jeeva troubled by Thribidha Thapa /Adhidheivik, Adhibhauthik, and Adhyathmik, and the congregation of the Sadhu Santh Mahathma on the riverbank of Sarayu is the storehouse of auspiciousness and bliss. The beautiful watercourse of the river Sarayu resemble the pure love and devotion to Rama confluence with sacred Mahanadhi Ganga, and Sona, which removes the sufferings and grief of Samsara. The confluence of river Sarayu, Sona, and the Mahanadhi appears as the union of Bhakthi, Gnana, and Vairagya, and it destroys the Thrividha Thapa, afflictions caused by the interest in worldly matters, possession, richness, wealth, fame, money, attachment to wife, children, relatives, companion, etc. the sufferings caused by the Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, Mathshcharya, Ahamkara, and Mamakara, etc. The Jeeva whoever taken shelter in the Bhakthi, Gnana, Vairagyaroopi threefold watercourse of Sri Ramacharitha would achieve the liberation from the grief and sufferings of Samsara, and Garbhavasa Dhukha/repeated births as well. Whoever listens or recite the stunning Manasarovar of Sri Ramacharitha would get purified from the impurities of the mind, the glorious legend of Rama describes various episodes of unique, resemble the mangrove, creepers, and forests, Jalachara/aquatic animals located on river Sarayu, like the glorious wedding ceremony of Lord Shambhu and Goddess Bhavani. The celebration of the birth of Lord Rama in the illustrious clan of Raghu multiplied the happiness in the hearts of the people of the city of Ayodhya, like the powerful water currents on the river Sarayu.

The beautiful lake of Sri Ramacharitha Manas is inaccessible to those unfortunate Jeeva who are drenched in worldly matters, Ahamkara and Mamakara, and people who have no faith and devotion in scriptures or Veda, or Santh, Mahathma, noble-souls/Hari, Guru, Granth. It remains inaccessible to all those who have no devotion or faith in Lord Sri Ramachandra, and the Santh Mahathma and have no interest in the association with the ascetics who are the reservoir of supreme knowledge. Even if the Jeeva take so much effort to approach to reach the beautiful Manasarovar of Sri Ramacharitha, the drowsiness like the enemy does not leave them, the extreme coldness in the unfathomable water of this lake would force the Jeeva back out from taking a dip in it, or take taste in the nectar-like water in it finally forces them to return with hollow pride.  If anyone asks their experience of the visit to the glorious Manasarovar, all they have to portray the unpleasantness and gets satisfied. Whoever achieved the grace of Lord Sri Ramachandra would take immense pleasure in the journey to the stunning Manasarovar of Sri Ramacharitha, without any hindrance, and the fortunate Jeeva take a dip in the bottomless water of the lake, and get rid of Thribidha Thapa/Adhidheivik, Adhibhauthik and Adhyathmik. The Jeeva who have intense devotion and faith upon the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra would never leave the Mansarovar, once taken the taste in the nectar-like Sri Ramacharitha, engage in austerities, vow, celibacy, Shamadhamadhi, Swadhyaya, Athmavichara, and live in the flock of Sadhu Santh Mahathma who takes immense pleasure in the Lake with their intellect on the ideas conceived from the mind of the poet. The sacred river Sarayu which is the source of supreme bliss, embellish the city of Ayodhya, and this sacred river has Veda, Shastra, Purans as its two banks. This beautiful river resembles Manasarovar, eradicate all the impurities of the Kali era, and uproot the evils whether it is as tiny as grass or massive as a tree.

The Jeeva drenched in worldly matters, attached to material possession, richness, fame, wealth, money, family, children, relatives, companion, etc. resembles frog and snail cannot approach this Manasarovar. The nearness to this stunning lake is possible only with the grace of supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra. The unfortunate Jeeva in the association of wicked, and deceitful people immerses in immoral deeds, gambling, consumption of intoxicating drinks, illicit relationships, resembles the weariest animals drifting on the toughest path of threat from the wild animals.  The Jeeva chasing after material welfare and bodily pleasures are hikers on the unapproachable mountains, that could put lives in danger. The Jeeva soaked in ignorance, delusion, laziness, Ahamkara, and Mamakara resembles living on the dense wood surrounded by wild streams that batter away all the things with the sudden flood. The unfortunate Jeeva cannot achieve the nearness to the beautiful lake of Manasarovar that resembles Sri Ramacharitha Manas.

I shall describe the excellent conversation took place between 1) Lord Shambhu and Goddess Bhavani 2) Sage Kakabhusundi and Garuda 3)  Sage Yajjavalkya and Sage Bharadhwaja and 4) Tulsidas and the saintly men, represents the four pots of nectar-like sacred water collected from the  beautiful lake of Sri Ramacharitha Manas.

 

The seven cantos of the Sri Ramacharitha Manas is marvelous seven flight of steps should be looked upon with wisdom and delight, that describes the boundless virtues, compassion, and mercy of Lord Ramachandra is the bottomless water in the Manasarovar, in this beautiful lake of Sri Ramacharitha, the supreme Lord Rama and Sita perform various amusements. The nine types of emotions such as Veera/valor, Raudra/anger, Kama/ lust, Hasya/humor, Karuna/kindness, Bhaya/fear, Beebhatsa/dreadfulness, Shantha/serene, and Adhbutha/surprise are the colorful fishes in the Manasarovar. The Chaupais represents thickly grown lotus plants, describes the shells holds the precious pearl like the virtues of Rama. The Chandass, meter, Dhohas are the pack of different colors of lotus flowers. The matchless ideas and the way of expression resemble the pollen of flowers, fragrances, and honey bees respectively. The virtuous and noble-souls represent the swarm of bees that takes immense pleasure in the pollen of flowers, the spiritual knowledge, Parmarththa Thaththva, dispassion, etc. represents the Swan.  The fortunate Jeeva enriched with Bhakti, Gnana and Vairagya, Vignana, with the practice of Shamadhamadhi, austerities, vows, celibacy, meditation, contemplation, etc. resemble aquatic animals in the Manasarovar, like the Sri Ramacharitha. The virtuous are the water birds that take immense pleasure in the Manasarovar. The assemblage of the saints, Mahathma, are the overly grown mango trees loaded with fruits and flowers on the bank of the Manasarovar. Veda highly emphasizes the fruitfulness of human life as the achievement of knowledge of self’ with the practice of devotion, austerities, vows, penance, which are the creepers, and the Shama, Sathyam, Dhaya, Dhanam, Shaucham, Astheyam, Bhramacharya, Swadhyaya, Arjjavam, Ahimsa, Niyama, Yama, Athmavichara are the flowers in the beautifully spread creepers in the Manasarovar. The achievement of knowledge of ‘self, Paramarththa Thaththva, Prakrithi is inseparable from the Purusha, all the material matters/Prakrithi is destructible, and the Athma is indestructible Purusha, Jeevathma is Paramathma, these are the Paramarththa Thaththva provides nearness to supreme Lord Hari. The various episodes described in the Manasarovar of Sri Ramacharitha represent stunningly beautiful parrots and cuckoos.

I shall meditate upon Lord Shambhu and Goddess Bhavani, who is mounted on a celestial bull, and describe the glorious Sri Ramacharitha Manas, and its origin I shall also describe how did the Sri Ramacharitha Manas got huge popularity in the world. The Sri Ramacharitha Manas is conceived purely out of the grace of Lord Shambhu, the very thought of the composition of the virtues of Rama I shall begin with the sincere requests to the Santh, Mahathma, noble-souls, and intellectuals, kindly pardon me for the mistakes in it. The heart of the pure soul represents the dwelling place of unfathomable ocean of knowledge of Veda Shastra and Purana, the Santh, Mahathma, noble-souls in the  form the different water bodies are the source of water in it,  who take great pleasure in the Sri Ramacharitha. The illustrious Sages and Rishis describes the various pastimes of supreme Lord Hari resemble pure water, which cleanses the impurities of the mind, augment Bhakti, Gnana, Vairagya, and spread the coolness and sweetness as well. It is essential to enhance righteous deeds like paddy crop to grow in an abundance, the Sri Ramacharitha resembles the sacred water sprinkled in the soil like ears of the intellectuals, virtuous, noble-souls, would spread through the different channels and gets collected in the heart of fortunate Jeeva, achieves liberation from impurities of mind, Ahamkara and Mamakara, sufferings and grief of Samsara and Samsarachakra as well.

The pious and Mahatmas take a holy dip in the sacred river Sarayu, contemplate and meditate upon Lord Rama who has attractive limbs resemble dark rain clouds. The Veda and scriptures highly eulogize the sacred river Sarayu as Thribidha Thapaharini/Adhidheivik – grief caused by an epidemic, natural calamities, droughts, famine, etc. Adhibhauthik – grief caused by the attachment to material matters, richness, wealth, fame, money, possession, wife, children, relatives, and companions of fleeting nature, and the distress in the absence of them, Adhyathmik – grief caused by aging, illness, fear of death, the grief of separation, etc. whoever take a dip in this sacred water would get rid of impurities of the mind, sins and grief, and sufferings of Samsara. Goddess Sarada who symbolizes wisdom and speech is incompetent to describe the devoutness of the sacred river Sarayu. The beautiful city of Ayodhya is one of the sacred lands on the Earth, whoever leaves mortal coil on this land would achieve liberation from the cycles of repeated birth, it is the heavenly abode of Rama who was born as the result of piousness of King Dhasharatha and Devi Kausalya. I shall begin to compose the glorious Sri Ramacharitha, residing on this well-known sacred land, with the grace of supreme Lord Rama who is the bestower of success and happiness, whoever listens or read to this Sri Ramacharitha Manas would get rid of 1) Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, Mathshcharya, Ahamkara, and Mamakara, and 2) achieve serenity of mind, and get rid of the untamed elephant-like arrogance and lust, and the scorching heat of sufferings and grief of Samsara.  The beautiful Sri Ramacharitha Manas was conceived by Lord Shambhu is the source of delight for the Santh Mahatmas. It destroys the Thrividha Thapa/Adhideivik, Adhibhauthik and Adhyathmik and the evilness of the Kali era. The Supreme Lord Shambhu conceived the glorious legend Sri Ramacharitha Manas and preserved it safely on his mind, and later, it was delivered to Goddess Bhavani at a promising moment.  Oh! Sujana/noble-souls, I shall describe the most propitious and beautiful legend of Sri Ramacharithamans, listen to me attentively.

The legend of Rama/Sri Ramacharitha describes the virtues and splendor of Lord Rama are endless as Rama, the fortunate ones get the opportunity to take pleasure in it. I shall prostrate before my preceptor, and bow down head before the lotus feet of my preceptor, I shall begin to write down the glorious myths, without any apprehension. I shall offer humble salutation holding the palms together, and once again requests for the grace of all, so that I would not make any mistake in the composition of Sri Ramakatha. I shall reverentially prostrate before Lord Mahadeva, and begins to narrate the virtues of Lord Sri Ramachandra. I shall bow down before the lotus feet of Lord Sri Hari and the marvelous city of Ayodhya, and begin to compose the glorious legend of Rama, on a Tuesday, ninth of Lunar Month Chaithra, in the year 1631. It is the auspicious day widely celebrated as the birthday of Lord Sri Ramachandra who was born as the son of King Dhasharatha and Devi Kaushalya, elder brother to Bharatha, Lakshman, and Shathrughna. It is the day all the deities, Sidhdhaganas, Rishis and Sages, demons, Vedas, Nagas, birds, humans, assemble to pay homage to the supreme Lord of Raghu Sri Ramachandra, and sing in praise of his virtues and splendor elaborately.
