– 39 – Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Bala Kanda – The confluence of the river Sarayu
with the Mahanadhi Ganga and Sona, resemble the union of Bhakti, Gnana and
Vairagya
The
villages and towns located on the river banks of Sarayu is the dwelling place
of the Jeeva troubled by Thribidha Thapa /Adhidheivik, Adhibhauthik, and Adhyathmik,
and the congregation of the Sadhu Santh Mahathma on the riverbank of Sarayu is the
storehouse of auspiciousness and bliss. The beautiful watercourse of the river
Sarayu resemble the pure love and devotion to Rama confluence with sacred Mahanadhi
Ganga, and Sona, which removes the sufferings and grief of Samsara. The
confluence of river Sarayu, Sona, and the Mahanadhi appears as the union of
Bhakthi, Gnana, and Vairagya, and it destroys the Thrividha Thapa, afflictions
caused by the interest in worldly matters, possession, richness, wealth, fame,
money, attachment to wife, children, relatives, companion, etc. the sufferings
caused by the Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, Mathshcharya, Ahamkara, and
Mamakara, etc. The Jeeva whoever taken shelter in the Bhakthi, Gnana,
Vairagyaroopi threefold watercourse of Sri Ramacharitha would achieve the
liberation from the grief and sufferings of Samsara, and Garbhavasa
Dhukha/repeated births as well. Whoever listens or recite the stunning
Manasarovar of Sri Ramacharitha would get purified from the impurities of the
mind, the glorious legend of Rama describes various episodes of unique,
resemble the mangrove, creepers, and forests, Jalachara/aquatic animals located
on river Sarayu, like the glorious wedding ceremony of Lord Shambhu and Goddess
Bhavani. The celebration of the birth of Lord Rama in the illustrious clan of
Raghu multiplied the happiness in the hearts of the people of the city of Ayodhya,
like the powerful water currents on the river Sarayu.
