the underground water source
The
monkey warriors set out to forest caused mayhem in the woods, hills, mountains,
streams, etc. their mind was completely devoted to Rama, freed from the
interest in sensual pleasures and worldly matters. They brutally attacked the
demons on their ways, did not leave a single spot to search, conducted rigorous
exploration of every nook and corner of the dense wood, whenever they come
across the hermits, they gather around them amiably. Soon after they felt
exhausted with hunger and thirst, lost their track in the woods, finally ended
up where there was no source of water. Hanuman realized that if they continue
like this for another few hours, the warriors would die of thirst. Soon he
leaped on the huge tree and looked around for the water source, saw a wonderful
phenomenon, he noticed a deep hole on the ground, where several Chakravaha,
herons, swans, hovered on its mouth, and several birds were making their way
into it. Hanuman came down from the tree and was informed about the deep cavity in
the ground which he has witnessed, as soon as the monkey warriors heard of the water source, they carried Hanuman on their shoulder and rushed to the site.
