Chapter -72 – Dhoha -71
Maharishi Yajjavalkhya
speaks “Oh! Bharadhwaja, the supreme Lord Hari highly pleased listening to the
praises of Lord Bhrama, deities and Mother Earth, a divine voice rose from the
sky and it removed the grief of the deities, “Oh! Sages and Rishis, Siddhas,
Indra and deities do not get anxious. I will assume the form of a human for
the welfare of all, I will take birth in the illustrious clan of Surya, I will
be born as the son of Kashyapa and Devi Adithi who underwent extreme penance and
attained boon from me. They have incarnated as King Dhasharatha and Devi
Kausalya in the city of Ayodhya, I will be born as Raghukulathilaka, one of the
four children in his palace. I will be born with the Paramashakthi/Devi Sita,
and make the words of Maharishi Narada
true, in the way I will reduce the burden of Earth. Oh! Deities, do not get
worried.” The deities assembled were satisfied listening to the divine voice and returned to their respective abodes.
Lord Bhrama pacified Mother Earth, thus she got relieved from fear and
grief.
Lord Bhrama advised the
deities assembled “Oh! Deities, assume the form of Vanara and serve the lotus
feet of Lord Hari on the Earth.” Thus Lord Bhrama returned to Sathyaloka. All
the deities along with Mother Earth peacefully returned to their abodes. The
deities who listened to the advice of Lord Bhrama did not waste time, assumed
the form of Vanaras, and their fearlessness and prowess were incomparable. These
valorous Vanaras used mountains, trees, and sharp nails as their weapon. The
extremely valiant ones sincerely waited for the incarnation of Lord Hari as the
son of King Dhasharatha and Devi Kausalya. These Vanaras took shelter in the
mountains and trees, they moved on with huge groups.
Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh!
Bhavani, I shall describe an interesting myth that took place in between, there was
an illustrious King Dhasharatha of Raghu clan who ruled the city of Ayodhya, was
praised by Veda. He was righteous,
intelligent and storehouse of virtues. He was an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu,
his wives Devi Kausalya, Devi Sumithra, and Devi Kaikeyi were lived chaste
lives, they were humble, promising to their husband, and passionate devotees of
Lord Hari. Once, King Dhasharatha felt extremely distressed due to lack of
progeny, he immediately left to the hermitage of family preceptor Sage
Vashishta, he fell at the feet of Sage Vashishta and earnestly prayed, he
described grief without a child in the
palace, Sage Vashishta comforted him and said “Oh! Rajan, kindly keeps yourself calm and courageous, you will have four children, and they will become
prominent in the three worlds, and they remove the fears of the devotees.”
