Chapter – 36– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara
Kanda– Lord Sri Ramachandra conducts expedition to Lanka
Kapipathi Sugrivah called out for the
Vanaras and bears in large number, soon they lined up before Sugrivah
obediently. All those Vanaras and bears arrived in multitudes bowed before
Kapipathi and prostrated at the lotus feet of Lord Raghu. The Supreme Lord Sri
Ramachandra take a look at the troops of Vanaras and bears who arrived before him,
and showered his compassionate grace on them, soon all those Vanaras and bears
achieved immense strength and valor as if the huge mountains were equipped with
fresh wings. Rama delightfully proceeded with the multitudes of Vanaras and
bears to Lanka, on their way he witnessed several auspicious omens. Devi Sita
came to know that the supreme Lord Paramathma Parambhramam who symbolizes auspiciousness
proceeded with the multitudes of Vanaras and bears to Lanka, her left limbs
quivered as a sign of auspiciousness. The multitudes of Vanaras and bears of
mountain-sized, equipped with sharp teeth and nails as weapons, plucked huge
trees on their way, created tremor on the Earth. As soon as they landed on the
Earth with the huge trees and mountain-sized body, the Earth started to quiver,
they have produced deafening roars walked behind Lord Sri Ramachandra, while
the elephants from eight directions trumpeted at the arrival of mighty Lord Sri
Ramachandra, accompanied by multitudes of Vanaras, and bears.
