Mother, kindly be fearless, you will see the destruction of demons before your eyes. If Lord of Raghu was aware of your existence in the city of Lanka, you would not face these hardships in your life, Oh! Mother, the moment Lord Raghu’s powerful arrows like Sun pierce the hearts of the demons, they would vanish like the darkness in the night. Oh! Mother, I am all prepared to take you to Lord Rama, I promise upon Lord Rama, although I haven’t received any instructions from the Lord. Therefore, wait patiently for a few more days, till Lord of Raghu arrives with the multitude of Vanaras to Lanka. Oh! Mother, he will annihilate the entire clan of demons and take you to Ayodhya, you will see the illustrious Sage Narada and others would sing in praise of his glories.” Devi Sita spoke grimly “Oh! Son, all the Vanaras must be tiny as you, whereas the demons are mountain-sized, how did they confront the haughty demons?” Hanuman assumed his real mountain-sized form listening to the thoughtful speech of Mother Sita.  Hanuman majestically stood before Devi Sita, he has great stature and had the appearance of Mount Sumeru, eyes resembled fireballs, sharp nails, and vicious teeth, etc. Devi Sita assured herself that Hanuman is the essence of valor, might, and intelligence, soon he reduced his colossal form.

Chapter – 16– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– Hanuman conveys the message of Lord Rama to Devi Sita

Hanuman spoke, “Oh! Mother, kindly control your grief, listen to the messages of Lord Raghupathi” while saying so, Hanuman could not control his tears, his voice was trailed. Hanuman conveyed the message of Rama “Oh! Sita, ever since I have been separated from you, everything seemed different to me, the fresh tender leaves look like the tongue of flame, the nights appear to me as utter dissolution, the cool moon rays scorching like the sunrays, the bed of lotus appears as a bed of spears, the raindrops feel like the hot oil. That beautiful nature was attractive to me once were turned as tormenting, the cool breeze carrying the rich fragrance of flowers appears as the hissing of the serpent. The grief shared with someone would reduce to some extent, alas! I have no one to speak to or no one can understand my pain of separation from you. The fact is that the love and affection shared between us causing intense grief, you can understand the pain very well, we both are sailing on the same ferry, my mind is always taking pleasure in your thoughts.” Devi Vaidhehi too absorbed in a deep love for Rama, forgot her body consciousness, after listening to the grief of Rama. Hanuman spoke solemnly “Oh! Mother, regain your consciousness, contemplate upon the lotus feet of Lord Rama, who is the delight of his devotees, contemplate upon the glorious legends of the Lord and get rid of your grief.”

Thatha, kindly tell me all about Lord Sri Ramachandra, who is the slayer of demon Khara/Kharari, and his younger brother Lakshman. Oh! Son, why did that all-merciful Lord Ramachandra has become too hard-hearted towards me? Does the chief of Raghu who is the source of bliss and companion of distressed souls remember me? Oh! Son, do I get the fortune to witness the marvelous appearance of Lord Rama who has dark cloud complexioned? Will my eyes get the opportunity to witness the most attractive form of that Lord?” her voice paused for a while due to grief, eyes drenched in tears “Oh! Chapter – 14– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sundara Kanda– Hanuman dropped the ring of Rama from the Shishumpa tree – The conversation between Devi Sita and Hanuman

Hanuman who was hiding behind the cluster of leaves on the Shimshupa tree noticed the miserable state of Devi Janaki, immediately dropped the ring which was given by Rama to hand over to Devi Vaidhehi. As soon as Devi Sita noticed the ring which has the name ‘Rama’ imprinted on it, she sprang up with extreme joy and picked it from the ground, as if her prayers were answered. Devi Sita took the ring from the ground and yearningly looked at the Ramanama engraved on it, she kept looking at the ring with a mixed feeling of joy and sorrow, and thought “who can defeat the Lord Mayapathi? No Maya could create a replica of the ring of Lord of Raghu.” Devi Sita was immersed in various thoughts, soon she could hear the nectar-like voice of Hanuman singing in praise of Lord Raghu. As soon as the sweet tone praising the virtue of Rama entered into her ears, all her grief disappeared, she listened to them all with her soul and ears, while Hanuman was describing the splendor of Rama. Devi Sita was astounded “Where does he who has nectar like the sweet voice singing in praise of Rama? Why he’s not appearing before me?” Soon, Hanuman appeared from the back of Devi Janaki “Oh! Devi, Oh! Mother, I shall promise on Lord Rama, I am the messenger of the compassionate Lord Sri Ramachandra, I have brought that ring for you. Oh! Mother, it was the ring given to me by Lord Sri Ramachandra and instructed me to give it to you.” Devi Janaki enquired surprisingly “Oh! Vanara, kindly describe how did the friendship between the human and Vanaras was formed?” Hauman explained all that happened in the mount Rishyamukha in detail to Devi Janaki.
