Chapter – 90– Sri Ramacharitha Manas –
Ayodhya Kanda– Guha feels miserable watching Lord Rama sleeping on the
Kushagrass
Rama returned after the evening rites,
delightfully consumed the fruits and water offered by Guha, he partook the meal
with Sumanthra, Lakshman, and Devi Sita, shortly Rama laid on the Kusha bed, and Lakshman
began to massage the feet of Lord. After a short while, Lakshman understood
that Rama has fallen asleep, he rose from the seat and gestured Sumanthra to retire.
Lakshman moved to a fair distance and kept an eye on the safety of the Rama,
holding bow and arrow. Guha instructed his faithful servant to keep an eye on
the safety of Rama sitting in a fair distance, and went closer to Lakshman and
took a seat with him. Guha felt extremely sad watching the Lord sleeping on the
rough Kusha grass, due to affection his eye overflown with tears, spoke sorrowfully
