Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “Lord Shambhu was extremely distraught to discard Devi Sati who is virtuous and highly devoted female companion, he thought it would be against the morality to continue to love her as a consort, Lord Shiva couldn’t utter a word in grief, he was sunk in deep distress “Devi Sati is too chaste to abandon, but it is unwise to love her as my consort anymore.” He contemplated upon Lord Sri Ramachandra, soon the very idea to discard Devi Sati became firm, as long as she continued to be the daughter of Daksha. Thus, Lord Shiva along with Devi Sati proceeded to the silver mountain Kailash, all his way, he was stern and soaked in the remembrance of Lord of Raghu. Soon, the divine voice reverberated in the sky “Hail supreme Lord Mahadeva! Victory to the Lord of Lords who reinstated righteousness and protected the movement of Devotion! Undoubtedly you are a staunch devotee of Lord Sri Ramachandra, and none can take a vow as the mighty Lord Mahadeva.” Devi Sati was stunned to listen to the heavenly voice, she addressed to Lord in an unsure voice “Oh! Prabho, kindly tell me about your vow, I would like to hear from you. Oh! Kripalu, you are too kind and compassionate to Jeeva, you are eternal truth, hence kindly enlighten me with the vow you have observed.” In this way, Devi Sati urged Lord Shiva to reveal the truth, but the most compassionate Lord Tripurari did not utter a word about it, thus he protected Devi Sati from further grief.”

Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “Thus, Devi Sati returned to Lord Mahesha, Lord welcomed her with a beautiful smile and enquired gracefully “Well, have you finished the test on supreme Lord Sri Ramachandra? Are you satisfied with the test? Kindly tell me the truth, how did you test that supreme Bhramam Lord Sri Hari personified as Lord Sri Rama?” Devi Sati who was already puzzled to realize the truth of Rama, made a futile attempt to hide them from Lord Mahadeva and, replied abruptly “Oh! Prabho, I did not test Rama, I have prostrated before him as you have done before him, I am thoroughly convinced about your description about Ram who is supreme Bhramam incarnated as the son of King Dhasharatha to reinstate the Dharma, hence I have no qualms.” Lord Shankara immersed in meditation, and he could envision what was really happened between Rama and Devi Sati. Lord Mahadeva offered salutation to the unconquerable Maya of that supreme which compelled Devi Sati to hide the truth from him, Lord Shambhu remembered whatever destined to happen will definitely happen at the will of supreme Lord Hari, he felt terribly disappointed at the ignorance of Devi Sati who assumed the form of Devi Sita and appeared before Lord Rama. The supreme Lord Shambhu immediately took a vow “It would be a grave sin if I continued to love Devi Sati who assumed the form of Devi Sita, it would destroy the ethics, and would become a stain on the cult of devotion, hence I shall abandon Devi Sati as my consort right away.”

Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “ Devi Sati who is none other Devi Indira, Jagathjanani, Paramba, Bhagavathi could perceive innumerable saints, Rishis, Siddhas, deities, trinities with their consorts attired in magnificent garments and various ornaments, which were beyond description. Devi Sati could witness all the deities, trinities, Rishis, and Sages, and the whole Universe and its living and non-living things, in different segments.  Devi Sati could witness several Lord Ramachandra and Devi Sita in the marvelous attires along with Lakshman, she could not believe her eyes, her body quivered, lost consciousness for a while, sat down on the ground eyes closed tightly. Soon, Dhakshakumari regained consciousness, and looked all around, there was nothing visible, all those visuals were disappeared, she repeatedly offered salutation to Lord Sri Ramachandra in heart, and returned to the place where Lord Kailasapathi Gireesha was waiting for her.”

Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “Devi Sati was baffled, deeply embarrassed listening to the soft and kind words of Prabhu Sri Ramachandra, immediately she felt dejected for not believing the words of mighty Lord Mahadeva, who is the knower of all, omnipresent Bhramam, the essence of the Universe and its living and non-living things symbolizes wisdom and truth.  Devi Sati went pale, prepared to return to Lord Mahadeva was seated under the shade of the Banyan tree in deep meditation. On her way back, Devi decided was not to utter a word to Lord Shankara about the test on Rama and her ignorance for not believing her consort pushed her in extreme agony, she was completely shattered for her distrust in Lord Mahadeva, she walked towards him heavy-heartedly. The compassionate Lord Rama sensed the miserable state of Devi Sati decided to reveal his real nature. Devi Sati could witness Lord Rama along with Devi Sita and his brother Lakshman walking ahead of her. Devi Sati was perplexed, looked back she could witness the same there too, in this way, wherever she stared all that she could perceive the Sacchidhanandha Paramathma Lord Sri Ramachandra, along with Devi Sita and Lakshman surrounded by illustrious Rishis, Sages, and deities, Lord Bhrama, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva that was beyond description,  the marvelous site of deities attired in magnificent garments and Sages assembled before the Lord Sri Ramachandra waiting for their turn to offer salutations at his lotus feet.”

Sage Yajjavalkya speaks “Devi Sati who was walking all alone through the dense forest, her mind was completely absorbed in various thoughts and became restless, finally, she has assumed the form of Devi Sita and walked on the pathways where Rama and Lakshman proceeded. Suddenly, Lakshman saw Devi Sati in disguise of Devi Sita was confused and astonished, kept silent and looked at her gravely. The Supreme Lord Ramachandra who is all-pervasive Bramham, the knower of all, has won over the sense, took notice of Devi Sati camouflaged as Sita, decided to remove the ignorance in Devi Sati who was defeated by the powerful Maya of Mayapathi. Lord Rama approached Devi Sati with folded hands and smiled at her gently, he offered obeisance to Jagathjanani Paramba Bhagavathi in a formal manner as prescribed in the scriptures remembering the name of his father, and enquired about Lord Vrishakethu, and the welfare of all, and also enquired the reason for her visit to the dense forest all alone.”

The all-pervasive supreme Bhramam incarnated as Lord Rama in the illustrious clan of Raghu's, Raghukulamani, for the happiness welfare of devotees and pious souls, destroy the wicked demons and thereby reduce the burden of Mother Earth and reinstate righteousness.  He is Lord of Maya/Mayapathi, entice the world and the living beings with his powerful Maya/Prakrithi which is inseparable from him. The Yogis, Rishis, and Sages contemplate upon the all-pervasive supreme Bhramam which is pure, unblemished, changeless, free from afflictions, has neither birth nor death, cannot be dried up with the wind, or burned into ashes with the fire or hurt by weapons and achieves Bhramanandham/supreme bliss. The Vedas and scriptures eulogize the glories of the omnipresent Bhramam as Na: Ithi, Na: Ithi which is beyond comparison and description.

 

Lord Shambhu took all the initiative to clear the doubts in the mind of Goddess Bhavani after witnessing Lord Rama in a miserable state searching for his consort Goddess Sita. Lord Mahadeva detailed the purpose of the supreme Lord Hari incarnated as Rama to reinstate Dharma to Devi Sati. In fact, Goddess Bhavani was greatly influenced by the Maya of Mayapathi Lord Sri Ramachandra, so she was not at all convinced with the teachings of Lord Shambhu because Hari Maya was so powerful and unconquerable even for the deities, illustrious Rishis, and Sages. Lord Shambhu smiled at heart and spoke “Oh! Devi Sati, if you have doubts still lingering in you, then you should go and meet him in person, why do not you go and meet him and get convinced? I shall wait under the shade of the Banyan tree until your return, kindly proceed yourself and get cleared all your apprehensions.” Thus, Devi Sati proceeded to the woods to meet Lord Rama, thinking about how to put a test before the Avadhakumara Sri Rama to find out is he that supreme Bhramam Lord Sri Hari. Lord Mahadeva immersed in various thoughts, understood the wrong perception of Dhakshakanya Devi Sati is not going to do good for her, she did not even believe her consort due to the transition of stars that are unfavorable to Devi Sati, the outcome of her decision to test Lord Rama is going to be inauspicious to her, no one is free from the powerful Maya of Mayapathi, whatever destined to happen definitely will take place, therefore it is unnecessary to indulge in it and waste precious time, soon Lord Shambhu immersed in the meditation of Sri Hari, reciting the Tharakamanthra. In the meantime, Devi Sati arrived in the dense wood where Rama and Lakshman conducting a thorough search for Devi Sita.”

Chapter – 50– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Bala Kanda – Lord Shambhu makes an effort to clear the misconception of Devi Sati

 

Devi Sati began to think “The all-pervasive supreme Bhramam is beyond description and perception, free from afflictions and impurities, it is the eternal truth, it has neither birth nor death, it is pure and unblemished, even the Vedas as incompetent to describe the nature of Bramham, hence it concludes ‘Na: Ithi, Na: Ithi’, If so, how did the supreme Bramham assumes the form of an ordinary human? If Lord Vishnu has personified on the Earth for the welfare of the deities and pious souls, like the slayer of demons Tripura, how could he wander all over the forest like an ordinary human, lamenting over the loss of his consort? How could he act like the ignorant Jeeva? he is the beloved consort of Goddess Mahalakshmi who symbolizes wealth and auspiciousness, he is the essence of wisdom and knowledge, he is the destroyer of wicked demons on the Earth, how could he act like an ordinary Jeeva attached to Samsara? On the other hand, the wise words of Shambhu cannot be false, he is the Lord of wisdom.” In this way, Devi Sati couldn’t control her racing thoughts felt very uneasy. Goddess Bhavani’s mind was filled with false notions, but did not utter a word about it. Lord Shambhu who is the knower of all realized the dilemma of Devi Sati, began to speak “Oh! Devi, you are the foremost among the female deities, you shouldn’t have doubts that left uncleared, the one who we have met on our way is the supreme Lord Hari personified as Rama of the illustrious clan of Raghu's, hence he should be revered with great respect, he is my beloved deity whose glories were sung in praise by the Ghatasambhava all these days, and Lord Rama is the one who restore the righteousness on the Earth, and destroy the wickedness demons.”
