Chapter - 132- Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Sri
Tulsidas Maharaj –
Sant Tulsidas Maharaj speaks “Oh! Raghuveera, I am
helpless and distressed and there is no one propitious as you. Oh!
Raghuvamsamani, there is no companion trustworthy as you, and there is no Jeeva
miserable as me. Oh! Prabho, kindly remove my fear, anxiousness of death, and
repeated cycles of birth. Oh! Raghunatha, kindly shower your perpetual
grace upon us, like the lustful man can't live without his beloved female companion, the greedy
person attached to his wealth.”
The glorious Sri Ramacharithamans/Manasa
Lake like exploits of Lord Sri Ramachandra was composed by the blessings of
Lord Shambhu, considered as one of the best among the poems, with the object of
developing unceasing devotion at the lotus feet of Lord Rama who symbolizes wisdom, beauty, valor, and virtues. It was composed by the
illustrious Sage Tulsidas in Awadhi language to remove the gloominess of the
souls and enhance devotion at the lotus feet of Lord Rama, which has purifying
effects on mind and body as well. The glorious Sri Ramacharitha would remove
the impurities such as lust, desire, ego, anger, jealousy, pride, arrogance, and
ignorance in the Jeeva, and bestow Bhakti/devotion, Birakthi/dispassion, bliss,
and serenity of mind. Whoever takes a holy dip in the nectar-like exploits of
Rama/Sri Ramacharitha, with intense devotion would never burn in the scorching heat of
sufferings and grief of worldly existence, and fear of transmigration.
