- 32– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Uththara Kanda – The illustrious Sanakadhis
meets Lord Sri Ramachandra along with Bharatha, Lakshman, and Shathrughna
The brilliant sun like the virtues, valor,
courage, kindness, righteousness, amiability, selflessness, pure love, devotion
at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Ramachandra, truthfulness, purity of mind and
body, celibacy, non-violence, communal harmony, mutual respect, etc.… grown in
abundance in the Ramarajya and it eradicated the impurities of mind such as
Kama, Krodha, Moha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, Mathshcharya, Ahamkara, and Mamakara. One
day Lord Sri Ramachandra along with his three brothers, and Hanuman visited the
pleasure garden, at the same time, the illustrious Sanakadhis who is the embodiment
of austerities and penance, has the appearance of children, attired in loin
clothes merrily roam all over the Universe in Bhramavichara singing in praise
of the Supreme Lord Hari who was personified as the son of Kosala, the supreme ascetics
came to meet the Lord perceived the four brothers as the embodiment of Chathurveda/Rig,
Yajur, Sama and Atharva Veda. Lord Mahadeva speaks “Oh! Bhavani, the
illustrious Sanakadhis, Manasaputhra of Lord Bhrama stayed for a while in the
hermitage of Kumbhaja/Sage Agasthya who described the splendor of Lord Sri
Ramachandra, it was like the friction produced by rubbing the dried woods, it intensified
the fire of devotion in them.”
