Chapter - 13– Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Uththara Kanda – The grand coronation ceremony of Lord Sri Ramachandra – Vedas assumed the form of Vandhiganas praising the splendor of Rama and Devi Janaki

The deities and Sages engulfed in extreme bliss watching the coronation ceremony of Lord Sri Ramachandra, the sky has reverberated with the sounds of divine instruments played by the celestials and Kinnaras, the celestial dancers performed marvelously to the tune. Bharatha, Lakshman, Angadha, Sugrivah, Vibheeshana, Hanuman, and the rest of the Vanaras shone beside Lord Sri Ramachandra and Devi Janaki, holding Chowries, umbrellas, fan, bow, sword, spear and shield, etc. Devi Mahalakshmi seated next to the Lord Sri Ramachandra excelled the beauty of several Manmathas and Devi Rathi. Lord Rama has beautiful eyes resemble blue lotus flower petals, strong shoulders, and arms, conch shaped neck, broad chest, charming dark cloud complexioned limbs, adorned in various ornaments such as a magnificent crown, armlets, bangles, fish-shaped ear ornaments, and ornaments on the neck, chest, waist, and ankle, attired in yellow silk garments, captured the souls of the deities, Rishis, and Sages. Sage Kakabhusundi speaks “Oh! Garuda, the beauty of the divine couple, the uniqueness of the assembly of Ayodhya, and the delight on the occasion of the coronation ceremony of Lord Rama was beyond description, even though Goddess Saraswathi, the thousand tongued Adhishesha, and Veda took an effort to describe them all, but the grandeur of the ceremony was known only to Lord Shambhu. All the deities eulogized Lord Rama and Devi Janaki and returned to their respective abodes, then the Vedas assumed the form of Vandhigans and eulogized the grandeur of the Lord. The all-pervasive Bhramam personified as Lord Sri Ramachandra received each and every guest with great honor and no one know the mystery behind it.
