Chapter – 7 – Sri Ramacharitha Manas – Bala Kanda – The Universe is the place of ‘good and evil’ – The Veda and scriptures emphasize the necessity to follow righteousness/Dharma

The scriptures brilliantly describe the process of churning the milky ocean for the nectar of immortality collectively by the Devas and Dhanavas, during this process, the first thing that came out in the open was toxic poison, that was gracefully accepted by Lord Mahadeva, thus restored peace in the world, further, the process of churning continued, and many precious things like Airavatha, Ucchaishravas, Lord Chandra, Goddess Mahalakshmi and precious gems, Kalpavruksha, Varuni, and finally, the nectar of immortality emerged out of the ocean. Hence, the Universe is the place of ‘good and evil’, the piousness brings the serenity of mind and the evilness disrupt the peace and happiness. The scriptures and Vedas emphasize whoever follow the righteousness, truthfulness, kindness, compassion, non-violence, perfect control over sense, austerities, knowledge of self, would inherit supreme bliss and serenity of mind, perceive the omnipresent Bramham/Oneness-in-all and the Jeeva drenched in Ahamkara, Mamakara, lust, anger, ego, jealousy, and pride would undergo constant grief and sufferings meets miserable death ultimately heaves to the vicious cycles of rebirth. The Universe is the reservoir of ‘goodness and evilness’ are pair of opposite like happiness and sorrow, respect and disrespect,  pleasure and pain, devoutness and sin, day and night, birth and death, supreme Bhramam/eternal truth/Paramathma Parambhramam and  illusion/Maya, indestructible Purusha and destructible Prapancha/Prakrithi, richness and poverty, King and pauper, the sacred land of Kashi, and the cursed land Magadha, the sacred Ganga which is the purifier of souls and the river Karmanasha that takes away all the devoutness of the Jeeva, the deserted land of Maravara and flourished land of Malava, the twice-born/Bhramin considered as Bhudevatha/Lord on Earth and tribes who feed on animal, heaven and hell,  attachment and dispassion.
